Will there be a way to watch it on the internet tomorrow? I'm really bummed I won't be able to watch it. I always enjoy seeing stuff about your collection.

$40M?!?!? How do you even put a price on any of that? It's priceless

I remember the first time I saw the P4/5 at the SuperCar Weekend car show at the Polo Club in Palm Beach back in I think 07. I remember my first impression being confused as to what the hell it was haha. When it was explained to me, I was blown away. The idea and creation of a car like this just never happens and it was very cool to see it and to see that it's actually driven is also very very cool.

Interesting to watch the Bloomberg piece. It says that Napolis assembled his collection for $20 million.

Hmmmm, there are at least 3 cars in that collection worth that alone. A couple are worth probably half of that.

The $40 million figure for the P 4/5 is not too much of a stretch if you consider the merchandising and licensing opportunities. And if you consider the GTO to be worth somewhere in the mid 30 million range.

This is interesting to think about.

Jim, in light of this, would you care to comment on whether or not P 4/5 has been even remotely close to a positive financial investment? That is, have such things like licensing, etc., allowed you to recoup some of the investment?

No worries if you don't want to comment; I'm just interested. The emotional value of P 4/5 and it's affect on the automotive world alone are worth far more than you could ever invest/recoup.

    Cheers.

I will never forget sitting in P4/5 at that event, along with the Bandini car. One of those when I get really old I may someday forget what to do with my penis thoughts, but I will never forget those two cars that day.
