You have to be careful with anything Dr. Marko says... he's nearly as slippery as Bernie and has in countless post-race interviews here on TV openly shown that he flat out lied in the pre-race interview before. Could be all mind games to stir trouble in the Ferrari team and between Massa and Alonso.

Yup, I'd say Marko is just stirring the pot.

The last paragraph maybe has some merit , but the reality is that Massa would never have caught Webber, so why waste tyres and maybe not finish or have to pit again?

Yeah and Marko has never said anything stupid before - "Vettel's penalty was like the death penalty for stealing a chicken." :D

Also Helmut Marko is not "Red Bull" as you'd desperately like to claim. He's not their spokesman or team principle, he's just an advisor to the team. Fact is, like others of said, he is just stirring the pot and this ridiculous theory that Felipe could have passed Alonso and then "brought Alonso with him" to get past Webber is debunked by common sense.

Non-issue, can't wait for the next race.

Must indicate that RB is worried about the Ferrari threat.

I think they are. They know they haven't wrapped this up yet and probably thought it was a good idea to have Marko go make a few rousing statements to the media (or he did this on his own accord, one of the two). A comment about strategy would hurt particularly bad since they owned Ferrari in that department to claim the 2010 title.

Marko is the definition of a spin doctor, just ask the drivers he's made Toro Rosso can for no legitimate reason (even telling Alguersuari he had a seat for this year before firing him!). The guy can't be trusted...he's probaly one of the shadier people in the paddock.
