Not 65 yet, but will turn 63 in a month. I became an owner at 53 and have driven both cars at every opportunity or excuse, don't foresee a personal age limit on Ferrari ownership as long as health and finances hold up.
good for you keep driving on & on for us older guys for me 32 years of FERRARI ownership that keep my blood flowing I had a triple heart bypass surgery then a stroke then I broke my left foot just below my ankle @ my age..still drive every day ! thanks for the reply show us your FERRARI
Ask me in a few years when I'm 70 if I'm still having fun in the Fcar. We'll see if I keep it or go to a change of life car. LOL
I drive it as I always have. Early and on weekends simply because driving in heavy traffic is not my idea of fun. As to a life changing car, the family has instructions to call the sanitarium if I ever come home with a Buick.
show us your daily driver (FERRARI) good for you keep going it's in your blood also thanks for the reply guys let's see your ferrari
79 next week, with 2000 550, I drive it all the time rain or shine plus I still do most of the work on it. Wish I had an SD2 though.
67 next month. 2 or 3 x a week. Maybe once a month in the winter when the roads are dry. Could drive every day now. Biggest problem are dips and speed bumps. And then there are places where the parking sucks. Like top down driving so I avoid rain when possible. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Age 70. Drive my sports cars daily except in winter. Alternate Ferrari,Porsche,Jaguar, depends on mood. All daily drivers.
Phil, it is an early version of one of Ferrari's proprietary diagnostic, interactive code tools. Kind of expensive, I think a used one is still $20-30k
Love my 550. I'm 67. Started with 64 Lusso in 64. It was my only driver in Tampa Fl. Someday I'll tell how I kept it running in those days.
My father and I share a 308 GT4 (the 328 GTS is all mine.) At 76 years old, he finds the GT4 to be fun, but the clutch pressure can be a bugger on his knee. My 35-year-younger, albeit surgically-repaired left knee has the same issue. A clutch is always an issue to bad knees. Certainly any of the newer Ferraris with a flappy-paddle gearbox is easy to drive for anyone of any age.
Y'all put me to shame...I'm 43 and hardly ever drive my 308. No excuses, the weather here allows all year driving. Even my wife gets on my case about not driving it. Well, that's all gonna change!!! Thanks for the inspiration.
I'm not 65, yet, but when I am will be about the right time to trade in my F430 for an FF. I'll need the extra seats as I plan on having at least 3 girlfriends at that time.
I am 65 and still drive my Testarossa, 308, and Dino regularly and will until I can't get in and out of them
Just had my 69th b-day and drive my 328GTS,F430(3-pedal) and my SSR(06 ) on alternating days.Life is good.........
70 is the new 50, right? Not a Ferrari, but close enough for this discussion. I drive the 599, the 275, and the Daytona every chance I get. Or the 350. Malcolm Image Unavailable, Please Login
I will be 63 in a couple of months and just bought a 98 550 (with 3112 miles on it). I will drive it (or look at it) for many years....I hope!
