Joe, you realize that the 1990 Countach's in that picture have had their value lowered by those 3 non-Lamborghini SUV's in the back
A car I know built in 1990 ordered by a Londoner Tidi G who took delivery at the works. Special-order Nero Metallizzato. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Interesting - from a distance, I actually thought they were Laforza's. And we need LARGER pics of the Brooklands green Countach. I saw (in a book) another green Anniversary Countach, but rather than being a dark flat green, it was more emerald and vibrant. Beauty.
From what I recall there were 2 Brooklands Green (one in the UK, one in Hong Kong) and one metallic emerald green like you describe. I'm saying this off the top of my head, but, I have personally seen at least one of the Brooklands Green cars in the UK and I thought it was stunning.
For those interested: there is a direct match for perm. banned user JDBQV and Turbo27. I'll give you 2 guesses on how those 2 relate to perm. banned user Bradjohnstone and the alter ego creator Allan Lambo. More to this story which reads like the movie script for a loser's life story featuring a wrecked ex-Mario Andretti 1987 Countach.

I can't belive you bit on that Sackey. Everyone knows they built a bunch of Countach's in 1990. Just look at the date the last Silver one was built. Duh, just wanted to get you going. I will be happy to post a pic of the 1990 Anniversary built in July of 89 witch is very odd.
3 quick corrections on this post for you Mr Sackey. 1. The correct spelling of the color is Bleu Miura, not "Blu Miura". 2. It is not the same as Bleu Miura, it is just another picture of the Bleu Miura car. 3. The PPG paint sticker is not located on the underside of the front hood, in fact it is located under the rear trunk lid.
Hardly. As is the case with your erroneous claim that no Countach was built in 1990 (erroneous information as usual supplied to you by your inept source), your claim of corrections & the so-called corrections are all bogus. 1. http://www.learnalanguage.com/learn-italian/italian-words/colors.php Read and learn. In Italian, Blu is correct for the color blue. 2. I apologize that your insufficient grasp of the English language (as proven by your constant typos & poor grammar) does not allow you to realize that my posting of the second picture was simply to show a different coloration of the same car because of Jet-X's "smurf blue" remark. It had nothing to do with illustrating the iconic Miura P400's color, examples of which I have dozens of images that I could have proffered if that was my intent. 3. The PPG paint sticker of a 1989 Countach is indeed located in the underside of the front hood.
No Joe, you are wrong as hard as that may be for you to hear. My good friend owns that car and I read the PPG paint sticker myself in July when it was at a car show and it is located on the rear trunk lid. Also I never tried to tell you how Blue is spelled it Italian, I said that is the spelling of THAT COLOR because I have seen the paint sticker and you have not.
Here is Roger's car that's in Joe's picture above. It is something like Bentley British Racing Green to match the original owner's Bentley apparently - it is very dark green. It was UK supplied and he was based in Hong Kong. These photos are from LeMans 1999 when I spent a wonderful few days in a convoy with Roger and his Anniversary and Roger's Dad in a DB7 Volante. On day one of the trip in the hot Summer in France the Anniversary's Air Con broke completely. Also pictured is the Emerald Green car, here in July 1993 for sale in the UK. It's much lighter and really really pretty. Confusingly, Roger's car was originally registered H10LAM and has been registered in Hong Kong too. I'm not aware of a second RHD dark green Anniverary - Joe can you shed any light on this? Also, are you able to finally confirm that your red QV DD in the UK that you said was one number away from Jay Leno's was 12916? Thanks for the factory Spring 1990 photo - two RHD cars there too! Hopefully I didn't piss anyone off with that remark (not intended) it was the first thing that came to mind when I saw it. I dug up the green Countach (emerald) that I was referencing, it was in the Osprey Classic Marques book. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here are a couple of well known UK cars. If you were wondering about the colour of the Countach folklore has it that it was chosen from a Dulux colour chart. When advertised for sale in 1991 it was described as "Countach 5000S 1983, one owner, 22,000 miles, peach with mid brown interior, rear wing and sports exhaust, £79,000." The SV was Peter Hay's car.
