that doesn't need to be imagined!!! you can get a "project car" and the majors could be as high as the car itself!!!......or even more if you get a wreck! it all depends on what you want and how much you want to spend!
No idea but the guys @ JTcars might have some knowledge. Does Nextcar (ex-Ferrari agent) still exits & servicing Ferraris? Yep. Parts can be expensive esp when MY customs are not the friendliest but if you guys are handy, there are many amazing threads in this forums of rebuilds done @ home. Spend more to buy a 360 & above then you'll be awarded with a beautiful Ferrari experience with little worries. Think I saw some early 430s asking for Rm450K+/-?
Hi guys...I was the proud owner of a Ferrari 355 and a Ferrari 550. Both wonderful cars as different as chalk and cheese but both uniquely Ferrari. Arguably some of the finest cars produced by Ferrari. The F355 spider was upgraded to a F360 spider becos I wanted a Paddle shift F car once again another wonderful car....Well time has come to consolidate my cars...getting too old to maintain 2 Ferraris...no matter how great!!!! Ive decided to change to a single F car...ie a latter model F430 spider...so the Ferrari 550M has to go...the first of the modern day front engined V12 with rear wheel drive and probably the last of that traditional ferrari gated manual drive...anyone interested let me know. The car is in excellent shape...just took it for a run a few weeks ago and it goes likt a bomb..but must warn u tho...road tax and insurance are high!!!
So Jon, does this means that if we want to buy a ferrari, worry not too much about maintenance (parts, repairs, services etc), get a 360 or newer?
Congratulations on moving up! Do u have some pics of the 550? I would be keen but need to rid a car or two first Yes, works for all cars & not just Ferrari. I recently have gearbox fault on three of my utility cars & two of them have only 80k km odd mileage, not the best luck!
i can vouch that this car is a perfect mint! I'v been in it and its just a thrill! I'v been behind it trailing it and its an absolute bomb....... I can't wait for the 430 to arrive nevertheless Unc. Jeeva! But there are a few of them around already and only one 550 we get to see here on our roads (of course there is that other one which is locked and hidden away!).....will be truly missed if it leaves Ipoh...... see now you have more than one reason for coming and joining our next drive ;-)
ya, i was refering to just the normal major TB/rollers/WP job.. if add in other repairs, sky is the limit :'(
well i believe most of the tools/diagnostic equips. were taken back to Singapore.....as for the technicians, half left to Naza and the other half to Bentley...their last remaining stock of Bentley cars were taken over by NI i think.... when i got my 348, i approached NI for records and they had nil (i don't even know why i bothered...was hoping NC might have passed over the records or something!)......I went to NC and they were towards the end of wrapping up their business....found their last techy/mechanic who was pretty free and was such a good sport (he was leaving to Bentley)....he took the details of my then "to be my car" and gave me the full record of my car!!! their customer service for their non customer was even impressive!!! its actually a pity that Next Car got squeezed out in such a coup d etat way!!!
no bro....its not happening this weekend....its most probably postponed to the next Sunday ie the 4th of November...too much traffic around here....its Thursday today and the N/S Highway was already crawling on certain stretches from Ipoh-KK at 10am!!! not sure how it is now in the evening.....plus loads of weddings on Sunday morning as well.......i have pm-ed you about this Saturday's event.....keep me posted....

hi guys just a heads up to let you know that the sale of the 550 is off for good. Just love the car too much!!!! My son gave me an earful when he heard that I was thinking of selling it. So looks like it's gonna be one old school manual gated V12 and a modern paddle shift 430 in the garage soon
Missed out on the 550 barchetta in Naza. Initially when I asked about 2 years ago they were asking for ?rm700,00/- but when I asked again recently both units have been sold to buyers in Australia. Pity, cant imagine anything more cool than a 5.5L V12 open top
Well done! A gated V12 is a dream machine to drive & 550s are getting rare here. Eh bro, but once it rains, you'll be in a filled up bathtub cos that thing doesn't have a roof. Well, not a proper one even if it does. Saw couple of them in the rain during my Italy drive, wonder how those guys protect the CD player etc.

Oh well, 99% has a roof to make do with in less than 20secs. Other than that, it's great to be in an open top V12. Can't think of many convertibles with a V12. Hmm.... Oh yes, the wonderful S1.
I'm not too sure on what I saw, but I was in bukit bintang on Sunday, in front of me about 50 meters or so, I think I might have seen the latest Mclaren. Orange in colour, with just one line of led brake lights, and sitting very low. I tried to catch up, but he turned into one of the alleys. Can someone confirm the existence?
I saw it parked at Grand Millenium on Monday morning. Does it belong to King? i dont know. I can upload a pic on the next post.
