He was doing it because he thought he had the cowardly veil of anonymity. We will discuss it at the next breakfast. How is the Mc Laren running? We hope to have 4 Enzos at the next one.

Fantastic video by the folks over at Sinematiks of the Kirkland Concours.

Great shots of my Countach as well as Roy's (GT and SV-R "Stars & Stripes"), John's (Superleggera, 400GT and Miura S), Tom's (LP-670-SV), Richard's (Islero) and Larry's (Supertrofeo) cars too.

What a stupid description of the car well discussed:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1984-White-Lamborghini-Countach-5000S-/261120672539?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3ccc01431b

"1984 White Lamborghini Countach 5000S. No issues, runs great, looks amazing...has been in climate controlled storage or in our garage.
One of 321 built. In 2004, American car magazine Sports Car International named this car number three on the list of Top Sports Cars of the 1970s, and it was listed as number ten on their list of Top Sports Cars of the 1980s.

    VIN ZA9C00500ELA12696

    Will consider partial trades."

Why waste space with magazine articles???
Talk about the car, about the car, about the car.

may be there is nothing better to say about the car...

for $125K, one would think that the seller would make the badges of the original color... I would also have done something about that ridiculous rear bumper.
May be i am too picky or too cheap...

if you notice the pictures shows the badges in black and others pictures in gold. Thus many photos here are files photos.

What you have here is another guy selling you an add not a car.

Here is a Countach that is advertised by C.Brody Investment Motorcars, 2950 Glades Circle, Unit 4, Weston, Florida 33327, (954) 646-8819.

"1985 Lamborghini Countach LP5000S "Survivor" NOT FOR SALE.
The Lamborghini Countach...more than any other car in the World...was a young boyz wet dream more than not. We have always personally loved the pre-1986 Countach's & have had a few over the years. When driven, they are very user friendly w/a great driving experience to be had ! They are simply ferrocious. This new edition to our Investment Motorcar Portfolio is this Side Draft Carb'd all original Euro Spec 1985 LP500S or what most know as the 5000S. It was delivered new to Germany & made its way to Orlando Florida's Ultimate Motorcars & sold to one Gerald Uranik in January 1986. Mr.Uranick was the sole owner & keeper of the torch for 23 years & a mere 3200 KM in total. Today she is 100% original from its Black Coachwork to its date coded Pirelli P-7's. We are totally excited to hold the torch on this 5000S for as long as we can. It will always be one of the most desirable & futuristic cars to ever drive the streets of the World."

    Three comments:
    - This looks like a nice Countach, although that's a comment based on a single picture and some information above.
    - The wheel color is a non-standard application for gold (excessive yellow tint)
    - Advertising this car amongst all the others & then essentially saying "Here it is, but you cant have it" is an underhanded way of saying "Make me a silly offer". If it wasn't for sale, it wouldn't be posted.

Nice piece by Karl Funke @ European Car:

    "It Started Here.

If you've read my stuff before, you might know I've got something of a Lamborghini fetish. It began with this car, the Lamborghini Countach. It's the car that got me interested in cars.

As brutally potent as it is, the Murciélago SV is the just latest example of a progressive design evolution that began back in 1971 with Lamborghini's LP500 prototype introduced at the Geneva Motor Show. The resulting production vehicle, the LP400 in 1974, introduced so many signature elements that continue to define the current flagship: a disgustingly powerful longitudinally mid-rear-mounted V12, a gearbox mounted in front of the engine for better weight distribution, futuristic body lines, and the iconic scissor doors. The Countach can't really be credited as the first design to employ the doors. That distinction goes to the Alfa Romeo Carabo concept, which was, incidentally, drawn by the same studio that designed the Countach: Bertone. But Countach did make them an icon of automotive design, one of the most recognizable.

While the names of most Lamborghini production cars are associated with bulls and bullfighting, Countach is said to be an exclamation in the local Piedmontese dialect, usually made by a man when he sees an exceptionally beautiful woman. It was supposedly first uttered when Nuccio Bertone saw the prototype sitting in his studio.

I've not yet had the pleasure of actually driving one, but I did get a ride. Owned by Lamborghini scholar and enthusiast Mr. Joseph Sackey, author of the definitive enthusiast piece The Miura Bible, it remains perhaps the most pristine example you'll ever see. Better even than when it left the Sant'Agata factory. Back in the day, I assisted Editor Bidrawn in taking pictures of it, and afterward Joe was kind enough to take me for a spin in his baby. I like to think that sequence is the one playing through my mind years hence when I'm lying on my deathbed."

It looks more like an ad than an auction, which is what high dollar items on ebay sometimes turn into anyways. That car has been for sale for a long time. I think originally it was $130k ages ago and then when they saw prices starting to go up a little they went to $200k. Looks like it is in good shape, but not the right car at that price, too much to get it back to original, unless you are wanting the koenig stuff.

/\ Sorry in reference to the white car on ebay. A few posts snuck in while I was typing.

There is a tendency to dress these cars up with gold accents post-production so it doesn't surprise. It think the wheels look ok if the color is correctly matched, but they often turn out either looking too bronzed or too yellowed.

The Miura & Countach are two iconic Lamborghinis indeed.
