    I can only speak for myself, but I think the track was a bit slow. I did a 44.8 in June at the Maserati day on old tyres. On new tyres I could only manage a 44.04 in the morning practice session. I drove the wheels of my car and tried everything to better the time and couldn't. I don't think either me or my car had much left, maybe a few tenths? ? ?

    Anyways, I had a great day at Winton. Was Good to see Scottski, PP and Mark come up to say hello and offer support.

    So you were almost a second faster. What are you complaining about? What tyre pressures?

    1.35.30 - No idea how I did that in a standard 360 manual on Hoosiers.

    One thing I do know is the older I get, the faster I used to be :(

    They must be for Romano to do a 1.33, as he was a lot slower than me when we went to 360 N-GT's.

    There was more pressure between Brettski's ears than he had in the tyres !

    Thought he was going to blow a fufu valve at one point.

    well, you did a 35 in the 355ch......and even though the 360 was stockish, it had more power and less weight than the 355...so it should be no surprise that you got the same lap time.

    News flash today from Phil the genius....

    a standard 360 Modena and a CS do almost the same lap times if they're on the same tyre.

    He's a funny one.

    ^^^^I guess a 355B does the same lap time as a 355ch and a 430 does the same lap time as a Scuderia too!!

    Maybe an Enzo does the same lap time as a F1 car too.....if they're on the same tyres

    A 360 has less weight than a 355? Must be first time in history a new model is lighter than the one before.
    They went to full aluminium construction on the 360; but it's a much larger car. Hmmmmmm

    The CS is lighter, better aero, better brakes and more power. Surprise to me if it wasn't faster.

    At the Qld Rally PSW in his 430 on R's was seconds slower than "love to have a drink with" in his Scud. I don't think it was the drivers...

    3.5 seconds faster at Fiorano, but with Corsa tyres, which are better than normal road tyres, but not a good "R"

    Phil gets an idea in his head that he wants to prove something, and in the end talks so much crap that he trips over himself.

    well colour me surprised!

    5 hours of SMS between the two of us today discussing this.

    OK...I know I have nothing better to do, but him? apparently not.
