That;s probably what i saw. Amazing what Malaysia has become.
haha my sarcasm is getting harder and harder to spot these days!!! lol! of the 99% i think about 99% would end up becoming a tub under heavy rain!!! got to drive with a towel in hand!!! but i think the 458 sorted that one out with the metal top...
Hi guys, I hope you enjoy my photos. These were taken of various Ferraris spotted at the Owners' Club AGM earlier this year. I just stumbled across it by chance on the way to Church, it was a very lucky and blessed day indeed. http://www.flickr.com/photos/37024121@N06/sets/72157630172277506/ Higher res available in my Gallery. And here's a dark grey F430 I came across parked at the Royale Bintang Hotel at The Curve. http://www.flickr.com/photos/37024121@N06/sets/72157630171933948/ Image Unavailable, Please Login
And finally here's a gorgeous Rosso Corsa Red, completely standard (apart from the fitment of the Challenge-style wheels) and pure 599 GTB Fiorano that I spotted in Australia. http://www.flickr.com/photos/37024121@N06/sets/72157630170720242/ That'll be all from me for now. Once again I hope you all enjoy the photos. Best regards. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It belongs to a friend of mine and he has a G power M3 too There was a nice E63 too A real car nut and they were up there for Sepang
Thanks man, and we do Sadly I don't own any one of them yet... Maybe one day... If it counts, I do have a gear cog from one of the GULF Racing / GTC Motorsport 1996 McLaren F1 GTRs that was used in competition in the 1996 BPR Global GT Endurance Series though. It is sadly true that a lot of young Malaysian enthusiasts nowadays (85-90%) only concentrate on the latest and greatest, with no respect or regard for the older stuff. Sure I love the newer supercars that can snap-upshift in 60 milliseconds or less, blitz to 200Mph in under 20 seconds, and swipe through corners at over 120Mph with no challenge and minimal danger to the driver (the new McLaren P1 will probably move those performance points on even further). But I also appreciate and respect a lot of the older stuff - 917Ks, Countaches, Miuras, 250 TRs, 330 P3/4s, 288 GTOs... Just to name but a few. I would have given anything to be there in 1995 when the McLaren F1 GTR took overall victory at Le Mans. Or any time when the Porsche 917Ks were battling the Ferrari 512Ss, or even when the Ferrari 330s were taking on the GT40s at the same race. Good luck trying to educate the average Malaysian enthusiast about them though. Most of the time all I get is a blank stare when I mention the F1 GTR's win at Le Mans, or even the word P 4/5... Best regards.
Yeah, i think i saw the E63 coming out of the hotel too. But i was driving at that time, so that did not really caught my attention.
I would be embarrassed if i meet you. I would fall under the category of a young person who likes modern cars yet know almost nothing about older stuff you mentioned!
That's ok - there was a time when I didn't know anything about them either. The Internet is a great source of info though, and I've met some great people who have helped me learn about them along the way. Please do feel free to contact me if you have any questions, just PM for details.
Very nice list you have there Yes, well .. I guess everyone needs to start from somewhere and they work to the finer and older cars. Having said that , I do like the 458 and the advantador and the new Pagandi Speakimg of the P4/5 i met the owner who is very nice and down to earth guy. A real Car enthusiast
Hahahaa.. I was also puzzled with the stickers on the bonnet ... But he is a real sporting and nice dude
I've seen an Aventador up close and sat in it. Very nice, feels very intimate and driver-focused - and surprisingly much easier to see out of and judge its' corners than the Enzo Ferrari and Maserati MC12 at Naza. I've been a big fan of the Zonda ever since I first saw it when I was 17. From the S 7.3 Roadster all the way to the 764 Passione, every one of them is unique and special in its' own way - just like the McLaren F1s. That being said, and I'm being polite here, I'm not a big fan of the Huayra's styling - especially the front. Agreed about James G. How did you meet him? A real privilege to follow his story and journeys along. Best regards. Image Unavailable, Please Login
hi there....welcome! i like older cars too!!! haha!!! the raw feel of man and machine! anyways good to have you on board!
1) maybe he always had front engined monsters and couldn't fathom the sight of no intakes in the front lid? ;-) or; 2) it could add weight to the front to stabilise the car at near top end speed.......
Lol.. No mate.. He has changed tons of cars I gues he wanted to make it look like a match box car. Behind on his wing! It writes "Catch me if you can" Good guy and very Funny with his antiques
I met Jim in NYC as I am there for work every month or so. I like the Huayra more than the Zonda actually but everyone has their likes and dislikes I hope someday to own one and a Diablo maybe in 10 years time for the Pagandi
Gimme an F40 or a Shelby Mustang GT500 and i will be a happy person. In fact, the 1986 Toyota Celica GT is also my fav.
