Looks clean - the car has an IFS plate holder on the rear - I'd start by contacting John Tyrell at IFS - highly respected shop - could be the PO had work done there and John might know the car.

    Good luck

It is clean car, but miles high, previous owner dead at 42 rumor to be suicide. Would you buy a ferrari from someone who committed suicide? Anyhow not worth much more than 23K in my estimate. What does everyone else thinK.

What does the PO's current 'health' have to do with whether or not the car would pass a PPI? Let the car speak for itself - who knows, maybe the PO did himself in after he got IFS's recent service bill.....

Don't make a big mistake and dwell on mileage, focus on maintenance sheets. I know of many cars, including 308s, with 80-150k+ miles that look and run great because their owners are fastidious in taking care of them. Personally, I would never own a low-mileage car because I would fear it was a poster child for ridiculous future repairs bills. My car is 40 years old and is pushing 89K and runs fine. A big block (25K or so) of the mileage is my own over the last 6 years. Does it hurt the value or experience - no.
