Apologies as it isn't exactly a spot, but the SV looks a lot better in yellow over white and black.

Saw that car in Richmond today.

I think I actually like them better in white.

White does look really great. Suits the angular styling IMO.

I've seen it around the city, but now that you mention it, I don't think I've actually heard it. Always been too much background noise. I'll bet it sounds great.

sounds raw and natural. no butterfly valves in the exhaust, no tricky tuning to give it a better vocal range - beautiful :)

    John,
I have had mine (series 2 S) for 28 years.
Not as solid (heavy) on the road as a Ferrari, more like a Boxer to drive but with loads more character, lower, lighter, more feel through the steering, more like an early 911 in the steering but a bit damped.
Drags its arse on the ground when driven fast on bumpy back roads (the twisty Targa ones of Tassie) and the aluminium bodywork is very thin - people leaning on it can leave dents, so it does not go out often.
Don't intend to sell it and can't think of anything I really want to swap it for that I can't buy if I wanted to, if that tells you anything.
It still takes my breath away to look at it and when lined up against other decent stuff your eye always goes back to the Miura.

thanks Wayne, the "dragging it's arse" is one of the traits that detracts from the Ferrari experience for me as I wince everytime I see a rough road while travelling at speed but I have the same admiraion for my old clunker while stationary.

Is it true about the front end lifting severely at speed (significant speed I might add) ?
