I'm intrigued with the idea of updating the gauge faces on the 355. I love the look of the 430 gauges and intend to try and do something similar. Has anyone done this already or know of a vendor that supplies them? I'd love to find out so I'm not treading the same path that someone has already gone down.

    Thanks!

Yet another good idea you've came up with. :)

I've thought about doing this although I can't find any options for the 355.

I been looking forever for someone to make them in small numbers. I'm in if you can source them

I tried it several years ago and found someone who did gauge faces. He went out of business before I could send him my gauges. You might find someone by just doing a google search. I settled for a different tach with rev limiter lights that you can set at what rpm they each come on. Yellow matches Ferrari yellow and I didn't care about not matching other gauges. Would not be acceptable to most Ferrari owners, but then I drilled two 3 inch holes in my rear bumper for Goth's Scuderia exhaust Different gauge faces would make a rather dull stock F355 interior more interesting.

I think USSspeedo dot com makes them for many other cars. Maybe if we can get a group going they will do a 355

I'm interested... It seems hard to find owners willing to change their 355s.

This is probably of no value, 'cause I don't really know the ins and outs of printing, but I'll throw it out anyway: I presume the tach can be taken apart to get to the face. Could you then pop the pointer off and take a photo of your current tach face with a high resolution digital camera? Then take to Jiffy Printers or whomever, and see if they can manipulate that image.....sort of turn it into a "negative". Where the back ground is white and the numbers are black. Then either print it on yellow paper, or they can probably change the background color on the computer too. Just thinkin'

Any other colors offered or only yellow? My car is yellow and was thinking white gauges with black interior

They can do any color you'd like and have a carbon fiber look that looks pretty good too.

    Very cool! count me in...

If possible lets see some of the other color options they can make.

What's with the blinker and other light indicators on the gauge faces? I assume that is just for an idea of what they can do?

    What are the prices?

With this mod it will also be nessary to change the light bulbs in the dash for proper lighting. Green just wouldn't look right.

Not wanting to kill the buzz here on this, but the new (430 like) faces are provisioned for turn signals,
gas, etc. Wouldn't this look odd when our 355's have these indicators elsewhere?

Maybe I'm nit picking? Of course originality will suffer and you loose the period correctness of the original gauges.

I might have an interest here. As mentioned, i would not want unused light or turn signal indicators on the dial. Just a colored replacement of the ones we have.

    Any guidance on cost?

These were just mock ups and would not include the turn signals, etc. Sorry I wasn't more specific on this.

I would like smaller fonts, those are big and kind of wonky

What look I was going for was to copy the Rolex Daytona watch pearl color faceplates

I hope Monte doesn't mind me throwing out the price here. Like he said they're not cheap at $629 for just the speedo and tach.
    Does this change anyones mind?

Group buy will hopefully bring them down to 395.95 :)

    Great looking stuff for sure.

But count me out. I like the car for what it is... not for what I can make it into, if you know what I mean.

I prefer the view out the windshield.

Valid point. Quick question do you have a performance mod? Or any after market items for that matter?
