Hello friends, i am highly interested in the fantastic first made 308 GTB Vertroresina/Polyester Ferraris.

Think i am not the only one. What do you think of them ? Dry sump, carburator, great styling...

The value of good cars is climbing and climbing.

    Welcome!

Yes, the top of the class, but climbing out of reach now, I had a deal at $36,500USD but that was years ago, he changed his mind and kept the car...

Good luck in your search! and again welcome!

    Welcome!

I just spent a week in Vienna, very cold first snow. The one Ferrari dealer in Vienna is really not that strong. It reminds me of the showroom on 5th Ave. in New York City.

I went with a '77 steel car because of price. The dry sump would have been great but I couldn't swing the money.

I know of one fiberglass car for sale in the Netherlands if you are interested. It is black with red interior, very nice car.

Send me a personal message for information.

Look into the other thread ("another 308 G.IV conversion") I have put a link there for you: there is one for sale in France, by a reputable dealer, with 35.000 kms on the odometer, a engine tuned-up to 300 cv, this for 65.000 euros.

    found on Classicdriver:

Moving upwards in cylinder displacement, the market’s appetite for glassfibre-bodied 308 GTBs showed no sign of abating with the black (not appearing terribly original in the catalogue) 1977 Ferrari achieving 58,377 euros.

How should I understand "not appearing terribly original" ... 60.'€ for a nice 308 Vetro would be a good deal I think.

Additional information: Dino and Daytona also Not Sold!

That doesn't look right for a vetroresina. (But a lovely colour combination)

    1. Why are the wiper arms so close together?
    2. The car has incorrect reverse lights, they should be incorporated in the rear bumper.
    3. Perforated drivers seat inserts, surely added later?

    Regards,

    Carl.

The wipers look like they are set up for a single pantograph type wiper like the Boxer.

The wipers are very strange ...
There are some more 308 GTB that have incorrect rear lights, some owner changed the lights because they prefered the "new style" with reverse light integrated in the direction indicator but most of this modified cars still have the original bumper ...

    Hello to all.

Yes, interesting, the wipers are strange, interesting, how this could be ? How changes this and why ? Are they changed ? Looks like the Michelottos ;-)

The reverse lights are different in Amerikan and European versions ? Could this be ?

Car was always in Italy, so no Amerikan Version.

The seats in red with the "Daytona" style where options, a have a letter from Ferrari (period) that the leather seats where an option. I like them, looking good for me.

    But the wiper ... ?
