Personally I'm not a fan of this design, but to each their own.

What really is staggering to me, however, is the AMG pricing. I was looking at an SL65 Black. $225K-ish. CRAZY numbers for a car that's going to depreciate like a stone in water. And, given that AMGs have historically not been close to those numbers, it represents a significant jump.

I suppose when Aston can get close to $300K, Lambo is getting in the $4's and Ferrari is up in the $5's, AMG can justify their pricing, but really? These numbers are just becoming unrealistic.

Wait for the Black Series to come to the dealers, they will be a lot more. Looks a bit odd, but I'm sure it's a beast.

I just don't get a covertible version of the SLS (yes, yes I know they had them in the 50's as well). The coolest part of the whole car is the gullwing doors. This is just a nicer SL, in my opinion.

BTW, wasn't the SL65 Black almost $300k when it was new? I'm not sure how far they will depreciate. Even if they drop by 2/3 they are still a six-figure car.

I have hopes the SLS (coupe) will depreciate like the original SL65/SL55 has. Several years after it's introduction, they are 25% of their new price. So in five years the early SLS coupes would be $50k cars. But I don't think that will happen. It will be more like a Z8, drop a bit then hold for decades.
