Always great to see my car on the forums thanks joe its parked next to my desk as i type this and it really is a thing of wonder . incidentally my desk is the front half of a '58 Chevy and somewhat impractical but fun.
Good to hear from you again Stephen! I think the thing of wonder is the way the car has been your companion for so many years and traveled halfway around the world with you. Best,
Yet another version of Alpine Ad. Looks like an LP400S S3 or LP500S. Note absence of passenger door mirror, front turn-signal lens & wiper. Probably all edited out? Image Unavailable, Please Login

12547's factory build conformation. Conspicuously absent is livery confirmation! I wonder how many are getting these from the factory? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have one exactly like this and I have another one that shows, VIN, exterior color, interior color, engine serial number, gearbox serial number, build date and market place. It is also on Lamborghini letterhead and signed by Salvatoe Cieri and Alessandro Frameschi Mike
I spoke to Valentino shortly after I got the car and he forwarded my name and address to someone within the company. Next thing I knew, DHL delivered it by overnight mail! Talk about service!!! It's dated April 19th 2010. Mike
Valentino is no longer able to make it like that, and he has no longer access to the individual files. Now, you have to go to a Lambo dealer, prove your model ownership and submit for that factory building statement. It will take about 4 weeks before getting the factory letter.
Love these rare lp500 shots cant get enough of them!!! 2 more that I have never seen before Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Joe I found these. From 6th May 1990 on a very sunny day in London. You QV DD ..... any chance of looking up the VIN? You said this car is one VIN away from Jay Leno's. Nice car. Ta Robert Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow, blast from the past! Thanks for sharing. Where was this? Sloane Street? Looks like my kind of parking I think we sort of concluded the chassis number a few months ago on here? Unless I dedicate a whole weekend to going through my storage we will have to to assume its what we concluded, but I have no doubt as regards my memory that I bought it as nearly-new car from Mike Forrest of Jersey Isle. I also recall maxing it out at terminal velocity on the M4 at past midnight. Perfect time to own one of these when I was young, single & foolish! This car came home from Johnny Gold's Tramp nightclub with 2 lady passengers on more than one occasion - please don't ask how they fit!
