Hello Jay & a "BIG" Congratulations!!!....life is about dreaming & fulfilling those dreams!!!!....GOOD 4 U!!!....did you come out to the Bay Area to personally view/inspect the car?....remember the sound of the V12 is like the "Sirens Sweetly Singing to the Young Brave Ulysses", trying to lure him onto the rocks!!!....proceed with due diligence!!......The Lambo in the dark picture, looks like a futuristic Space Ship just landed...."TIMELESS CLASSIC"!!!......Mark

Thank you Joe. My wife is not sure which hand I fall on - genious or insane. lol. But she does love the Bianco on Bianco as much as I do. Yes, I really love the Euro look.

Thank you Larry. It's been good stress, but no, haven't been sleeping well. Totally a overzealous little kid again.

Thank you Paul. I still do have the Mondial 3.2 cab, my other love. And I plan to continue to drive the Mondial only a little less frequently. Unfortunately because of circumstance, I cannot attend Cavallino this year.

Thank you Mark. I didn't. I didn't ever come out to see it. Some times, you just know when it feels right.

Thank you Bill. It was very important to me that the car be in really top shape. The car really is in near excellent condition.

Mark, the space ship comment is right on. This car is from another planet. I actually think that is a great analogy, better than the one I immediately thought at that moment. I thought of a wild fire breathing dragon meeting its master for the first time.

Normal cars don't look like this the first time they present themselves to a new owner. They don't. They just dont.

I should. I'm gonna miss them. The good news is that they never expire. Timeless, like the Lamborghini Countach.

Did I just compare the Twinkie to the Countach! Doesn't seem quite right. I promise I won't do it again. lol.

Another Sunday, remember Cars & Chocolate will continue year round. We have a private room reserved at the Beanery every Sunday.

FYI the Countach should qualify for antique tags, 1 registration fee ($75) for life. State inspection not required. Reduced insurance rates.

Seriously. I keep looking at these pics from this morning and keep saying "Wow, what a supercar!" The lines are just incredible. The doors, the lights, the curves, the intakes, the lids, the wing, the wheels, the rear, the exhaust tips, the interior. I never imagined it to be so jaw-dropping in person. If someone wants it, decide really soon, as I clearly am falling in love, and like swans, French angelfish, or wolves, it may be for life.

PS--Please don't tell my Mondi! She's in the shop and will be heartbroken upon her return.

Hate to say, after driving your Countach, the Mondial will never be used again :( Enjoy it!!! When you drive that beast people are going to chase you around like you are a movie or rock star

That last picture of the exhaust is something special.

  23. Yep. I think of it as what it would be like to be famous for a moment. The Ferrari is going to sit, but don't sell it. The flip side it's nice to have something that slips under everyone's radar (mine is the 930) that you can drive without all of the drama. Nice avatar Islandguy by the way!

Actually, I'm going to still drive the Mondial frequently. Even to work as I currently do. It's way more subdued. I have no doubt that this supercar garners way too much attention when out in public. Clearly, an early morning weekend kind of car only.
