I don't know the answer for the first one, but my friend says he saw a bunch of people with telephoto lenses.

They're not being very thorough in the searches, not sure if they're taking away food and drink though.

They pulled the shorter than 10inch restriction. The clearest shots i think would be on either of the two pedestrian bridges. The first day a lot of people were camped out on there, today though security wasn't letting them hang around (except for one or two locations)

Nice pics, I like looking at behind the scene stuff. Like that Veyron next to that Toyota lol :D

Because the seat will be there 5mins before a session starts. Try that with GA ;) It's empty on prac but come race day those same fields will be packed with people. Usually you have to get there 1-2hours early to find a good spot.

Those fences are really low...

I plan on heading out pretty early tomorrow so I can post up near the grid. Can't wait to "feel" the start of the GP.

Had a terrific day with the crew yesterday. The new track is fantastic except the track is so green they are all struggling with it. The garages are surprisingly small compared to other F1 venues which has put the squeeze on operations--rather surprising in a brand new facility. But who's complaining--F1 is back in the USA!

What a difference a few years makes. Fernando in his early days of 2001 with Minardi and Paul Stoddart. I remember Stoddart telling me at the USGP in 2001 that Fernando was absolutely destined to be a world champion someday.

Second photo is yesterday with Ferrari F1 and Fernando as a world champion. Fernando is such a total class act in every sense of the word. An amazing world-class professional at the top of his game and a first-class individual. I have such respect for his tenacious driving skills, his character and his drive to win!

It was loud in there today. Would predict around 13db higher with all 24 cars at once. I will be there for the start as well. I'll wear my sock monkey beanie tomorrow to try and stand out. Maybe a few fchaters can find there way :)

Love this thread. Wish I was there. Great Pic of a young Fernando with Minardi/PS.

nope, 13db higher was my guess with all 24 cars running through pit lane, than just one. two cars would be 3 db higher, 4 cars, 6 db higher, 8 cars 9 db higher, 16 cars, 12 db higher, then i guessed one more for the next 8 :)

It was wayyyyyy louder than in qualifying
