Whenever you see adds for pre owned high end cars, the carpets all have "lines" in them from the detailing. How can one get this effect? Is it t the result of shampooing the rugs or what?
I like the fresh and clean look it imparts to the interior.

the pattern is from the way the carpet is vacuumed, i think our housecleaner calls them "lobster claws ", anyway she told me that is how the customer knows the carpet has been cleaned.

Just with a vacuum? I guess I don't have enough experience with those things :)
Any product necessary? Like carpet cleaning solution.

no product used, it is from the nap of the carpet. push vac forward , pull back , push forward at a slight angle.

I have seen a special short 3 inch wide wire brush used. Vacume in one direction then use brush in the other direction for the stripe.

just wondering why you want them? I would rather see an interior all one direction rather than a zebra

you didnt buy the car with stripes!

this is true. just like the aesthetic. makes it look somehow "cleaner". But then I just might put a set of andrew mats down and enjoy the alcantara.
