i'm not that old either.. haha.. just that i love classic cars shape, & a lot lesser electronics.. just can't justify to pay thoudsands for a new control unit to replace the faulty one with maybe just one IC solder crack issue that cost a bottle of tiger beer to repair, provided schematic etc are available for troubleshooting/fault isolation..

sure.. will have a look at my fren's elise next week if possible when i back to jb..

fire-crackers? hari raya too.. I see malays give 'ang pow' too, but in green packet..

Congrats! That's a nice combi & that Italian flag is a good detail :)

Do you guys feel safe to drive topless? I used to do it in KL but got really nervous about it, am sure it'll be better in the countrysides. Great to enjoy the wind & that sound! Good one there, DrJeeva.

    Hi Guys,
Though I'd introduce myself on here. I rarely post as my typing speed is not that great :)
I was also looking to get some info and was hoping if any of you guys in here could point me in the right direction.
My name is Loga. I'm a Malaysian living in London. I work as an orthopaedic surgical registrar in Kent.
I own a 360 Modena F1 in Argento Nurburgring which I absolutely love. It has been my dream come true!!!
Well to cut the story short... I'm getting married in Klang in Dec.
I was wondering if I could get a Ferrari as a wedding car to give me a lift on my special day?
Are there any company/ person that you know that offer this service or if any of you are kind enough to give me a lift. I am able to return the favour and offer my car here in the UK if you like.
    Warm regards

Hi Loga, congrats on your wedding.

It would be impossible unless you have a buddy who owns a Ferrari here & even then insurance is an issue. Haven't heard of any exotic cars rental in KL but you could google around. If you're looking for a lift only then it would be easier, try contacting FOCM & maybe they'll send a convoy :)

Btw, my KL friends are docs in UK as well working in Cambridge & returning next year, they are wondering if they should bring in a Ferrari too but the govt just changed the scheme to tax-free on local assembled cars only :(

Which part of Kent are you? I've got a car garaged there as well.

Hi SF, Thank you for the reply. I'm not intending to drive a Ferrari nor have a convoy ( thank you but I would be a little embarrassed ) lol. Just looking for a lift in one... I think that would really make my day... It's an irony I have my car sitting here in the UK but can't use it for my big day.
I'm based in Bromley,Kent. Where abouts is your car/cars garaged in? I know a certain Mr Ecclestone has a huge garage close to here where he keeps his private collection....
I'm gutted to hear that the government has changed its laws on the AP permits.. I was definitely planning on bringing back my 360 or a 458 when I come back for good.

964 Ferraris!? Wow did you guys make it? Hey nice no plate you have there.

Thanks for sharing the photo, that's a nice silver there. Do you take it to the continent? I keep mine in Canterbury & drove around Kent last winter. Was pondering if I should go to Brighton but decided on Paris last minute.... oh heard from my guy that they've started to salt the roads now?

Well, if I'm in town during Dec with my CS, wouldn't mind lifting you to the bride but it ain't no softop or maybe the 456 can be a wedding car! haha

Yes we managed to break the record with 964 Ferraris.. There were more but I heard 5 didn't make it around the 2 laps required for the record! Let's just say they ran out of fuel ;-) It was a cracking day out!! Here's the video...

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6pE9C6mjDA&feature=youtube_gdata_player[/ame]

You are very brave driving to Paris. There are virtually no traffic laws there and the parking is horrendous.. The way they make spaces is bump into the cars in front and back to creat a gap to park.. I saw an enzo parked in Paris and it had cracked front and rear bumpers on the carbon fiber from the parking..I swear !!

I haven't taken the 360 to the continent yet .. But planning next year to drive it down to Monte Carlo in the summer... So if you are free we can do a road trip? How often do you come over here? Call me when you are here next and we can meet up...

It would be nice if you are free during December.. Any Ferrari will do :)

Wow, that's quite a sight & must say, best enjoyed from air! Almost a thousand Ferraris cramped onto Silverstone. Are you in the video? :) There's so many F40s....

Oh yes, those Parisian & their parking. Damn, I feel painful for that Enzo. Trust me, it was even worse "diving" into the roundabout @ Arc du Triomphe! It's like being sucked into a whirlpool & you dodge while looking for the next exit, yikes! Took my '74 Boxer there last Christmas & the hotel gamely let me parked @ their entrance despite having just a few lots. Finding a hotel was nightmare as I didn't book on this last min trip so took 2 hours driving around Paris asking whatever I could find in the chilling weather. Also, the boxer had a bad starter which cannot be started when it's hot so I have to keep the car going....

Monte Carlo is a beautiful city. I shipped my Malaysian 456 there in 2010 for Mille Miglia then drove there too, staying for a couple of nights.

I'm planning to go there next summer again but probably driving the E-type from the Riviera then Route Napolean back to London so if we can have a company, that'll be nice.

Excellent pictures and thanks for sharing guys. I was in Naza last weekend, a friend of mine was very keen in getting a Ferrari. 360 to be specific. However, there wasn't any stock and our attention was turned to a beautiful 360 CS. That too was sold. 700k was the price, year 2004 model.

Also, just to share, the Enzo sitting there in Naza in the only unregistered Enzo in Asia Pac. I think it's a new one and was never used. I used to think that was someone's Enzo who traded in and left it there. However, i found out it was a gift, from father to son, if you know what i mean :)

There's also some whispers to bring Mclaren cars exclusively too. And Maseratis as well. Will keep you guys posted. Cheers!

Hello mate, I saw a 360 for sale with a dealer, Wang Selamat? in Ampang some months ago asking for Rm450K. Appears that there's a lot of grey imported F430s so those are more readily available & prices are softer as well while the 360s actually become rarer but if your friend can stretch, go for the 430, much better car.

There should be another unregistered Enzo in Singapore too but wonder if he has sold it. It's really sad to these supercars sitting, hope they do get excercised regularly.

Yes it was a wonderful sea of Red littered by silver, yellow and blue ferraris. I don't think I am in that Video but I'm on a few others that are on YouTube. There were at least 40 F40s... Think they were there on a separate parade lap too. There were around 6-7 former F1 cars plus the FXXs,599s and the 458 GTs. I was a good day out!

Funny you mentioned Arc du Triomph... I totally agree.. It's CHAOS in motion! Lol.

Wow your boxer looks lovely... Looks like it belongs in Paris...stunning pic. Aw and it's always a nice sight to see a Ferrari in Monte Carlo. How did the Mille Miglia go? You do live an exciting life indeed... I would have loved to do that someday.

Yes I'd love to join you next summer.Sounds like a perfect route. Hopefully we can make the trip together. It would be an honour to drive alongside an E-type :)

Bro bro, I think we love the last pic best :D Please tell us you have their contacts! haha

Oh sexy number plate there :)

You know the thing about a sea of red. Happened when I saw it everytime when we gathered in the carpark for meals during the Mille Miglia. So I told myself that the next Ferrari that I buy must be yellow cos there was a very nice yellow German F50 driving along in my group & there's just too much red that it hurts :p Anyway, I bought the bi-color Boxer first (yellow is very rare) then the yellow CS.
