It's not the money, I actually meant it might be physically too large. I need to see how thick the cedar lining is going to be to see if there would be room for the II. It looks like it's about twice as wide as the XL Plus. We'll see as I figure it all out.

Traded with my friend at work again. Just tried the Ramon Bueso Genesis The Project. Nice draw and seems to be a well put together smoke. Pretty intense for my taste buds but it did mellow out a bit about halfway in. Toward the end had a more mellow but slightly maybe wood flavor to it??

Good cigar but probably won't make a regular in my rotation. He also gave me a LaGloria Serie N which I'm looking forward to trying. I've heard good things about them!!

    I had a T52 earlier and now a LP9 Toro.

    Yummmmmmy.

LP9 seems more complex and has more punch but the T52 was very balanced and delicious.

    Both very good!

    Smoking a Curivari Buenaventura tonight.

For $6 these are killer. Complex Nicaragua blend nice restrained spiciness. Cubanesque.

If you can, pick some of these up

I'm not a big cigar smoker, but last week I was in Virginia Beach on business, and happened to find a store that was unveiling a new CAO cigar, named "Concert", to highlight their connection with Nashville and the music business. It was a nice smooth cigar, although I'm not sure of the price range. Some of their other cigars such as the Brazilia and Italia seem nice from what I remember.

Well, a bad influence in a good way I suppose! I may try one of the Museums this weekend.

So speaking of getting rid of the glass tubes, do you store full boxes in your humidor? If so do you leave them open a bit or are they fine with the lid closed? Just something I wondered about.

I don't like to store full boxes myself. It takes up too much room.

One of my friends has a high dollar stainless monster humidor and he stores boxes, but he opens them when he gets them to inspect then and throws them in his humidor.

Another friend converted a closet into a humidor. He just keeps buying and putting the sealed boxes in his closetdor. He has a good seal and a major humidification system built in.

I don't believe in the cigars marrying flavors, or constant rotating of cigars. I just smoke them.

Also remember I live in single digit humidity desert. 30% humidity is a humid day.
You live in a more favorable climate. Your mileage may vary.

    Good day. No great day.

Cohiba siglo IV after my alma mater wins the 119th rivalry game for the fourth year in a row.

Then after a 16oz ribeye and crablegs had a Davidoff Millennium Blend Pyramid.

I'll have to see just how much room I end up with. Went and bought cedar today. Now I need to start prepping and glueing up the boards. Ended up with a local place that had some nice 1" stock. It will be a nice sturdy iceboxador!!

That sounds like and amazing day!!

I lit up one of the Museums last night. Started out nicely, lit well, but was almost a bit harsh. Almost. It really calmed down and developed a great flavor about 1/3rd in. I was busy out in the garage so it sometimes sat for a bit while I was doing something. I had to relite it a couple times but if I were smoking it while sitting down and relaxing I'm sure it would have done fine. It tightened up for some reason at about 1/2 way in. I had to roll up near the top pretty hard to open it back up. Nice smoke overall. I would say they are well worth the current price.

I can see where folks didn't think they were worth the original issue price. I think there are probably quite a bit better cigars out there at around $30 each. But like I said, at this price I like them!!

    Thanks for the tip Marc!

I did a little more teardown on the ice box and started looking over the boards for pattern and color matching. I think I'm close to a plan.
