Wow that is crazy! It looked like room after room after room. Even for super-rich people with great car collections, it's usually in one big room or two.

Very impressive though. I like the row of Bond cars with the cardboard cutouts.

I've been at Jørgen Strøjers collection twice, and it really is a pleasure each time. He's very passionate about his cars, and he knows a lot about each and every single one of them. It is to be said, however, that his 250 Testa Rossa and his 250 GTO are replicas, both based on a 250 GT SWB, if I recall correctly.

He also likes to fire all of the cars up, and give the crowd a show. Let me tell you - you just don't see modern cars shoot flames from the carburators anymore!

The 250 GTO is based on a 330 GT, and it is not a 250 Testa Rossa, but a 500 TRC, based on a 250 GTE.

Also his 250 SWB is a replica, but I'm not sure which Ferrari this one is based on.

Given that it is Thanksgiving and I have much to be thankful for, I thought that I would share a pic of all four of my babies racked and stacked . . . about as much fun as you can pack into a two car garage! The other garage is the exclusive domain of my wife and our 5 year old . . . I keep the toys segregated to avoid any mishaps. Each one is a joy to drive--2005 Carrera GT, 2005 Ford GT, 2010 Viper ACR and 2011 GT-R.

    Happy Thanksgiving to all.

According to the documents presented right next to the cars, in his collection, it IS a 250 Testa Rossa, however I always have thought it was quite strange, as it doesn't look like the ones in my mind, and it definitely resembles the 500 TRC way more.

The 330 GT thing is correct, however - I just realized, I've read it wrong all along - I have pictures of both documents, if you wish to see. (for the rest - it's in danish, so I doubt you'll have much fun with it :) )

As far as I know the chassis is a replika chassic of a 500 TRC and it's based on a the 250 GTE with S/N 3675GT. And it is registret as a 250 GWO acording to it's Danish numberplate. :)

But he could have bought it as a 250 Testa Rossa Replica anyway - or call it a 250 Testa Rossa - as I think not many of the visitors of his collection are able to see that's not a 250 Testa Rossa.

No favorite . . . all very different. The ACR is essentially my track car--Mopar PCM, Belanger headers, Corsa racing exhaust, 6 point harnesses, etc. The GT-R is my daily driver and has been rock solid reliable for commuting. And the Ford GT and Carrera GT are just so unique and have that "X" factor. And yes, the ACR, FGT and CGT are quite raw and the polar opposite to the GT-R.

My last Ferrari was a F430 which I very much enjoyed but I am waiting to see the "Scuderia" version of the 458 Italia. I am certain that there will be another Prancing Horse in my garage in the future.

Cars are not usually a sound investment but both the FGT and CGT will likely hold their value well. The ACR is a question mark; however, it will be the last of the Vipers with no electronic systems (other than ABS) so who knows. My GT-R was purchased as a daily driver and has a Cobb tune and titanium turbo back exhaust with non-resonated mid pipe (it was just too quiet compared to my other cars!) and has been ideal for the daily grind. I agree that it will not be one that appreciates in time but it is good fun for now.

The modern collection with the Cobra and Gullwing as well is just staggering. I actually find myself struggling to decide which car i would take out first.

Everything on the CGT is expensive even the time needed to putting it on a hoist.

It is the cost of owning something so bespoke. I still love it though. The best car I've every owned.
