I would vote for the Vector if any quantity were actually produced. They weren't.

Jaguar owners voted with their dollars (or GPBs) as soon as the real cars were announced. Jaguar had to sue customers to take delivery, which is a poor customer retention plan.

However the 220 may still be disqualified under RHS's Post 7 of This Thread Rule.

If so, I nominate the Cizeta-Moroder, or the Bugatti EB110, or anything else (like the 220) that was under gestation during the mad late 1980's car bubble, and lunched to (and with) complete indifference.

Surprised with the dislike of the Jag here. I've seen a few in person here in FL and think they look amazing. I don't think photographs do them justice. The interiors are a bit dated, but the car is old. No idea on how it drives.

Its a draw between the Vector M12, The Mosler Photon, and The SSC Ultimate Aero Diablo Replica. :D

Why is the Jag being hated on so much? I think its still better than most supercars out there right now. id rather drive that than an Aventador! As for vector I thought the W8 was one hell of a supercar. the only issue I had was why the hell did they use a Chevy small block? Worst of all it was mated to an olds Toronado Trans.

While the Jag may not of followed trough with the original design, I wouldn't call it the worst made. The vector was cool... But I wouldn't call it a supercar. I've never been a fan of the EB 110.

They would probably be on a list of "best ever" if only they had been given a V12...

The Jag doesn't belong in this conversation of worst ever IMO. Nowhere close.

    Worse ever?

    Bradley GT or Brickin. LOL

The Vector has to be far and away the worst. I have seen all of the discussed cars up close with the exception of the Cizeta and the Vector is on another planet of terrible. I remember as a kid reading about it and the reality is that the Vector is worse than most kit cars.

It was disappointing the XJ220 didn't get the V12, but to even suggest that it is the worst supercar ever is absolutely ridiculous, just as it is for the Bugatti EB110 and Cizeta-Moroder.

I guess this might be a good enough place and time to admit that I really have always wanted an EB110.

Far more than a Veyron, far more than an Enzo, more than almost anything of that era...

Jaguar stopped supporting the 220 shortly after production ended.
At one time I thought I was in the market for one.
Called their US service guru and he said they had one waiting like two years for a water pump.
Engine out service was like $40K.

One's a kit car and the other's a safety car. Neither is a supercar.

The XJ220 is a car I lust for.

    Despite all its defects.

    It was damn fast...

My main metric is appearance and the Jag and Vector are hot looking to me.

My vote would be Ferrari F50. I think its a visual insult.

Interestingly enough my vote for Best supercar ever would be the 288 GTO. Best looking car ever designed IMVHO
