    VETTEL WINS THE TITLE IF:

    - He finishes in the top four
    - He finishes fifth, sixth or seventh and Alonso doesn't win
    - He finishes eighth or ninth and Alonso is third or lower
    - He finishes 10th or worse and Alonso isn't on the podium

    ALONSO WINS THE TITLE IF:

    - He wins and Vettel is fifth or lower
    - He is second and Vettel eighth or lower
    - He is third and Vettel is 10th or lower

You forgot one. The FIA can disqualify either driver for dangerous driving ;)

Which would be biblical luck for Seb, as it would mean a SC start.

The perfect finish for me would be for Hamilton and Vettel to take each other out, Alonso on podium along with the 2 HRT's! :D

Lol, good one. If that's what it takes for Vettel not to win the wdc, so be it!!

Vettel looses control and hits rail 3 laps from finishing on P1...unharmed.....Hamilton gets P3, Massa P2 and Alonso P1...Vettel can't get a ride back to the garage due to issues with the bikes and 4wheelers, and he has to walk back..passing all stands with hundreds of SF Flangs..and under heavy rain...arriving soaked dripping wet after the award ceremony.....LOL

Unfortunately, Vettel will win the title, he is a great driver and a young nice man, but IMHO no one deserves it more than Alonso. He has been dealing with fishes and loaves for the entire year, he was taken out by Lettuce with no fault of his own and he drove beautifully all year. In a perfect world, Massa will win, Alonso will finish 2nd and Hami 3rd with Vettel's alternator saying bye bye. Either way, we are lucky to have so many Aces in the field and both of these drivers are worthy Champions.

As long as Vettel doesn't take pole, we have a shot at this.

I just hope that in the final race recap,.. Grosjean's name isn't featured prominently.

    It's really very simple:

    Massa needs to torpedo Vettel.

Nobody will suspect it was deliberate if it rains.

I wouldn't want Alo to win that way and most importantly remembered as a 3-time world champ like that.

    Let's go Alo!

If you guys are bored, I put together a Turkey Day Scuderia mixtape to kill some time until qualy:

    I don't mind. A WDC is a WDC.
In the long run only the stats are remembered.

Nice job. I need to head West and do that track one day. Still on my bucket list.

Thanks! Infineon is fun! Driving the scud there w/ zero aids got my heart pumping esp. w/ very little run off anywhere and walls so close on either side of the circuit. Couldn't imagine running there on the limit, I only did a series of light sport + race sessions on Ferrari Racing day but it was awesome fun.

I have "driven" it on the Playstation and it is incredible. I want to do their racing school one day to get better at driving with aero:

Qualifying finished a bit ago, there is no spoiler on this thread, so do not mention here anything about qualifying.

    Or MODS add a spoiler.

Well, it was way cool for Sauber to finally get a pole.
