How far do we derail this thread.. show some respect for mickey please.. http://sniffpetrol.com/category/ralf-and-mickey/
I'm looking forward to next year because I'm hoping you can finally shut up about Schumacher. In 5+ years on this forum I've never seen a member gloat as much as you do with your nauseatingly smug attitude about the whole thing. Purposefully antagonizing MS fans time and again is not behavior I'd expect out of a moderator, but whatever. MS won 5 titles for Ferrari yet you hate him? Along with your comment about being happy with the third Vettel WDC in a row (YAWN) you made in the other thread, I have to wonder about some people that call themselves Ferrari fans on here. You're probably just excited about another Vettel WDC because it gets him closer to what he needs to eclipse Schumi's records. Enjoy the Vettel win tomorrow...
Frankly, what is weird i think is that he used to post some excellent stuff. Then when MS announced his comeback with Merc, it's like as if he can't take it and deal with it. Of course everyone has a favourite driver and a least favourite driver. I don't really fancy Hamilton, but i don't seem to put him down or whatever most of the time. However, it's MS is under a microscope. If he doesn't overtake; he seems to lost it all. If he overtakes and touches, he's desperate. Of he doesn't defend, he's lost it all. If he defends too much or too hard, he's desperate. Overall, i think it's silly if anyone say he's damaged his legacy whatsoever with this comeback. The circumstances weren't right, and it also proves that MS is mortal. But i don't think this comeback will do any damage to his records. For him at 43 years old to be this fit and racing guys 20 years his juniors definitely something. Whether he finishes last or first, i appreciate the commitment, the initiative to be fit, to begin with. This time, i won't miss MS when he retires. I genuinely think he's done, and i wish him all the best, for inspiring many people around with his work ethic, commitment towards the team and perfection. I think it's time he enjoys his retirement and with his family. In fact, i don't even think he'll miss F1 after the hell and broken promises he's been dealing with this last 2 years. Have a great race MS. Produce a classic and remind everyone why you are still one of the best out there.
He still posts good stuff. A lot of it. It's too bad he has such an irrational hatred for MS (especially weird because he did so much for Ferrari). Even now after Michael announced his retirement tifosi12 can't stop posting about him - gloating an antagonizing any MS fans he can. Look at the avatar. Just childish...
A nice video the BBC put together: http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&hl=en&client=mv-google&v=SgmZ73yQ8JU&nomobile=1 I hope he has a good race today.
hahaha...that was awesome. No BS...no corporate speak...just telling it like it is. I was hoping he'd feel exactly as he said he feels. Great insight Interesting favourite moments.
His first GP at Interlagos and second podium. Ticked at da Silva for passing him, gave up a promising career as a Chippendale and didn't like being jerked around..... TIME FLIES. Thanks for the memories Shoe! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLLxCMgo3PI[/ame]
+1 And for those who want to get the real story on how Schumacher transferred from Jordan to Benetton, this is where you'll find it (and even for those who don't care, this book has a ton of fascinating history like e.g. Enzo): Image Unavailable, Please Login
Michael did a good job and finished right behind the 2012 WDC. One can't help but wonder how well he could have done with a Top 3 car instead of what he was actually in. Good luck Hami next year, he's going to need it!
Der Kaiser! thanks for the memories! How great was it seeing him battling Kobi, wheel to wheel, in the rain, with a few laps to go? Cold have easily mailed it in. (he should kick the MB designers in the nuts) Loved his helmet message 'Life is about passions. Thank you for sharing mine.' https://plus.google.com/101443032616581166067/posts/Msvs2z2neHQ
Good final race from the grand master. Schumacher in W03 really showed us he has no problem dicing and meeting his very talented younger teammate who will no doubt give the mighty Lewis Hamilton a time next season as well. At any age let alone 43 that is remarkable. His comeback will always be filled with 'what ifs' which is just down to his equipment situation. It's not like Schu ever had his tail handed to him out there, so these past 3 years will be but a footnote in his remarkable career. Until another driver proves they can drive like this in modern F1 machinery on up into their 40s, Michael has further proven himself to be nothing less than the finest F1 driver this planet has ever seen.
