It's when you cross Janet Napolitano with Rosie O'Donnell.

Me and my brother were snipe hunting in the Redlands when we were kids. After tracking one for an afternoon we decided to cool off in one of the drainage canals. After a few clips off the steel bridge at 320th street and 217th avenue we competed in a muff diving contest. I got honorable mention.

On our way back to the trail to get some snipe we caught a glimpse of a skunk beast heading east. I jumped on my Z50 but the beast was too fast for me to catch him. I took a couple shots with my Daisy but it just couldn't bring that beast down.

We never saw him after that, but a few years later we found a bale of pot that someone must have dumped from a plane coming back to the US. My friend took it to a fort we built on the back of his ATC90.

Bottom line is that the skunk beast is really fast. If you see one you had better be ready to take him down quickly. They aren't aggressive. The smell of a skunk beast is like 2 week old Durian. Unfortunately you probably have to track it from downwind since they run at the first hint of Irish Spring.

    Good luck on the hunt!

    :)

Growing up in Sebring, the legend there was Mossman which inhabited the woods
around Lake Huckleberry terrorizing the Boy Scout and Camp Sparta campers each
    summer.

Really, Mossman was nothing more than a couple of local rednecks who covered
themselves in Spanish moss, crossing the lake in a boat and tear-assing around the
camps scaring the hell out of the kids.
