Hi Robert, By removing the precats and switching to high flow cats could result in a CEL. Not everyone gets the CEL, but it is a possibility. Adding our 90 degree o2 sensor spacers should help keep the light off. We can assure that the CEL will stay off with our ECU upgrade. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. Jeff
Question: If I order these will my Ferrari dealer install them or will I have to have another shop like Norwood Performance do it? What is the feeling among the dealers about doing this? Does it affect resale/trade value of the car? What is an average installation cost for doing this? Thanks
Your dealer may be willing to install a non-OEM part. Some do, some don't. However, I have shop suggestion in the Dallas area if you need one. Shoot me a PM, email or give me a call to discuss further. Thanks! Jeff
Strange that Capristo Cats don't generate a CEL but Fabspeed ones do & the Fabspeed 90 degree spacer is not the best design as you can only install or deinstall it when the Cats are off the car
If someone is worried about CEL, you shouldn't do both Fabspeed headers and cats. I have both and have the CEL. Tried the spacers- CEL less, but eventually it turned on Tried the tune- Just turned off the monitors and ran as open loop, so still no passing of emissions.
Hi Robert, Thank you for the pics and video. It sounds great! Did you install anything else or just the headers? You didn't get a CEL did you? Thanks again. Jeff
Grand auto works tech told me he took out the bypass valve and that's all he did and of course the fabspeed headers. But no cel at all so far and it definitley feels and sounds much better.
