I'll starting a partial restoration in winter for a european mid '75 series 1 308 GT4, looking for a recommendation/source for the following parts:

    - New/NOS tail light covers including the chrome frame
    - The two plastic covers for the original fuse box
    - Window seal for the front window, Superformance don't seem to stock them
    - Trunk carpet, anyone remaking the beige/black cross weave pattern?
    - Recommendation of a source for an original looking 308 GT4 toolkit reproduction (Superformance?)
    - An original or remade window crank handle

    Thanks,
    Adrian

I believe Eurospares UK are breaking a lhd gt4 - otherwise have you tried all the usual sources eg Ferrari Classic Parts UK Ricambi USA Ebay etc etc etc

I tried the usual suspects (Superformance, ebay etc), my list contains all the parts i couldn't locate yet. www.lascuderiarossa.com seems to offer complete tail lenses but no chrome frames and i haven't been able to source the trunk carpet anywhere yet.
Have sent Eurospares an email, thanks for the tip.

I have 1 fusebox cover which I can not use anymore due to the installation of the "Birdman" fuseblock.
Furthermore lakewell.com seems to sell carpet sets but the material looks different than original.
The plastic chrome surrounding of the tail light can be rechromed, look on the web for plastic chrome and you will find componies who can do that. I do not have the experience myself though.

Good to hear that a GT4 is properly restored! I think we need pictures....

Aero, thanks for the offer, did you only install one replacement fusebox? I wonder why no one set on reproducing the original beige/black Sisal carpets yet, will ask some of the local carpentry workshops if that would be possible. The plastic frame has been damaged so need to fully replace it unfortunately.

Regarding pictures, photos of a factory original series 1 european car would be very interesting, or maybe even a book like Matthias fantastic Dino Compendium. Any recommendations?

I have been scouring everywhere for the beige trunk carpet for 2 years. As far as I can tell its unavailable.

The rear lights, new ones, will be very difficult and quite expensive, also looked for those. Closest I came were a set of decent used ones for 600 Euro.

    alhbln,

1 fusebox was replaced by the previous owner and did not come with the car altough I do not know it was there in the first place.
I have a virtually unmolested 208GT4 series I, if you neeed any detail pictures I am willing to take these for you. I am looking for some minor parts as wel to correct some minor imperfections.

Do yourself a favor and do a search on this board for La Scuderia Rossa before you consider ordering anything from them. Perhaps start with this thread, http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=387238

Molex, good input, thanks! Aero, nice offer, if you open a new thread with detail photos of your 208 it should be helpful as reference for anyone restoring.

Just ask what pictures you want, I can take as you like. The car is on axle stands because the wheels will get restored and when all goes well there will be XWX's next year.

Would be nice if someone here worked in textiles and could reproduce the trunk carpet.

My father did automotive textiles until his retirement, he'll investigate. We have some weaveries here which do custom jobs and have the right machines, so lets see if this is feasible.

Does anyone have a small carpet sample/leftover, which he could send me as a reference? A 4x4 inch sample would be sufficient already.

So, i am working on the trunk carpet, front window seal seems to be available from Dinoparts, the right side fuse box cover is supplied by aero. Will need to do my own toolkit replica based on the original one from a friend. What is still missing is

    - Tail lights i can reuse the surroundings but the reflectors are damaged.
Any source for the round reflector inserts? The type is Carello 12.311.718
    - The plastic covers for the original left side fuse box
    - A replica/NOS panel for the air condition knobs, see below

    Thanks for any input/source,
    Adrian

I bought a repo A/C plate on ebay years ago from someone in Australia but I seem to recall I bought the last one. Not sure if someone else is making these...

It also came with the tops for the buttons.

I have looked for the rear lights, I can't find anyone making repros. I've on rare occasion found used ones in decent condition at high prices.

There are some GT4 gas tanks on eBay right now, they don't come up very often.

It's easy enough to repair a hole in a gas tank. I had a pin hole in mine. Cost me $150 to weld the hole and have it re-coated. Those will be on ebay for a long time I think...

So my biggest headache right now is the round reflector insert in the rear lights - anyone having a NOS or used one in good condition he would be able to sell me? Or any other sources? The type is Carello 12.311.718.

    Cheers,
    Adrian

Someone here made a custom set last year, haven't seen anything since their original post.
I did see superformance was now selling the red and amber reflectors, hope they make the rest of the trim.

Superformances seems to offer only the rear lenses (orange, red), but not the reflectors unfortunately.
