    In recent history, it seems like everytime it comes down to the last race, Ferrari always loses. Here are the ones I remember:

    Irvine loses to Hakkinen
    Schumacher loses to Villeneuve
    Massa loses to Hamilton
    Alonso loses to Vettel (twice!)

    I'm only familiar with the last 2, and they could have easily taken both. On the first, Ferrari focused on the wrong bull. On the second, Alonso could have driven better IMO; he had all the luck he could get, and Vettel all the bad one.

    Schumacher lost to Hakkinen in 98.
    Schumacher lost to Alonso in 2006.

    Just answering my own question the answer is yes. We won in the last race of the season in:

    2007 - Raikkonnen
    2003 - Schumacher
    1964 - Surtees
    1958 - Hawthorn
    1956 - Fangio
