http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=295164&DL=1150 Thinking of adding another one of them older cars to my Lotus Esprit. What do you guys think of this car? And will it be worth to restore it to original condition?
personally, no go for me. but then again, i probably can't appreciate it due to my age. i'm sure you can find nicer cars mate!
I have a feeling that your happiest days with this car is the day you sell it! It has a reputation for classic poor Italian reliabilty as Maser in those days did not have the QC that it has now. It was the time that Maser was passed around like a bicycle, to various owners before Ferrari/Fiat really took over and concentrated on it and produced the cars you see today. Looks also far from classic, sexy or exciting so what is there going for this car other than a nice badge on an ordinary looking car? I reckon just stay away.
Bro, this car was for sale last year below $50K. Was looking at it too but it has a dreaded autobox which may appeal to others. Get rid of those ugly wheels first then start spending! You can google for more info on this turbo model, can't rem if this was a bad or good version but they rust so check the edges & hidden corners.
I highly recommend this http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=309178&DL=1000 Not the price though & watch out on the COE. Good thing is, it's damn rare & very stock so it's appealing to collectors.
Just heard the sweetest Aventador on the roads, single plate 5... The car ROARS!!!! damn... I need to do a heist!!! The sound is amazing
Any idea if the Shamal is still around! It was brought it and one was sold. Heard the is some problems with the Biturbo model when you corner , the car goes on boost.. Something like that.. And I heard nightmare stories on the electronics But the name Maserati and the clock is beautiful
innotech exhaust? mad car... sounds so crazy ! I wonder if any aventador's fitted with that locally ....
David, which dealer did you buy your car from? As mentioned by other brothers here, Ital does not know much about 430 as they started with the 458. Hong Seh or E marques is a better bet. Buying a warranty package is like buying insurance and they are not cheap. I have had no problems with the 2 F430 spiders which i had. My car were both new and i kept them for about 2 years each. If you don't track your car a lot, just driving around Spore and Malaysia, i don't think you need to buy warranty. It's only good if you bought a lemon. It's more important if you find out the owner and history of this car. If it has been trouble free so far, than why worry. Many owners know each other. F chat is a good place to get info. Good luck.
Was one of the first customers of the grantoursimo. Its a great car and so far as i know the only reliable car from Maserati. All models before that are nice to look at but give you a lot of grief. A couple of bi turbo customers and gransports customers on F chat can testify to that.
The price was a reason for me look past. 3 plus years left for 165k? I always loved the slant nose 911s. But hard to find. Would grab one if available. The gemballas are lovely too. Always been into those big assed 911s with that huge rear wing that looks like a bbq pit. Hmmm...... just did some reading up. It does seem like a problematic fella.
Damn that fire can roast some chicken Wonder how does so much petrol get pass the Cats to burn out without destroying them.
No wonder. They probably fitted the Cats delete system for the car in the video! http://www.ipe-f1.com/lp700.html With that set up & tiny muffler, it'll sound bad ass but likely too loud for street use. Also have to deal with CEL & bypass it. I had a cross pipe system (no-muffler & Cats) for the Diablo & it was freaking loud but I dumped it, wasted US$3K
drove it at sepang but not on the streets ... it's amazing what this car can do ... considering it's a big a** v12 ... it's quick ... very very quick ... not too difficult to get 2.30 or below in it ...
