Ok, I had intended to leave the car alone for the first year of ownership before I started changing anything. The seats are new, less than a year old but are leather instead of the correct vinyl. The are from GAHH and are beautifully made but not quite to my taste.

Are these saleable? or should I dye them and live with them for awhile?

I don't want to even sit on them if the are saleable as it looks like I was the first to use them.

    Any thoughts?

Ya I have to deal with the carpets as well.....another day

If the seat are made in good quality and the yellow stripes are leather I would try to get them painted also black and keep them.

If I was doing the Ronald McDonald thing, I'd snap up those seats and carpet. That'd look McLicious in my Dino! :)

The center sections are easily removed from the seats. Just have the center sections redone.

Yes they would !!! Another reason why they have to go. Every time I look at the car I get a craving for a quarter pounder

These seats are all leather including the centre section

if the yellow inserts are just leather then just dye them black- they look to be marvelous quality

That is the direction I am headed. I would prefer the original non leather, non "Daytona" look altogether .

Dyeing them is probably the best overall short term solution

Interesting. How are the round holes trimmed? Are they stitched?

Can you take a close up picture?

Without those carpets, just the yellow seat inserts might not be so bad.

You are either too bored, or have too much money to spend ;)

Drive the car and enjoy it ! Life's too short my friend !

True, I have the 'original carpets' although they are pretty beat up. Maybe I will put them in and have another look.
