    are you serious!?!?

I've never understood how anyone cud be so irresponsible to carry their child in a car .. and on a drive like that. I bet they didn't disengage the air bag either!! I can't believe the club allowed it on a cross border drive.

You see it all the time in Singapore .. where they have so many laws yet seemingly don't care about infant safety. In Australia they won't even let you take your baby from the hospital without evidence of a legal baby carrier

Yeh I did notice the wheels. To be fair, if they are HRE's (which they look to be) they have a known design floor caused by the inside lip which traps water & creates vibrations .. and on the front can effect steering feel. That being said, from Simon's perspective he should zip it.

Considering everyone commented on the picture of the girls instead of the gold lambo... We know which F is more important :D

I don't think the wheels really mattered in this case. I was a few cars behind him and I was aqua planing all over the place with my original rims and tires. It was like driving through a pond and it was extremely terrifying even going at around 60km/h or so. Even if they did matter, it simply isn't Simon's place to make such an insensitive retarded comment.

So it was basically semi-slicks that cause the aqua-planning among the super-cars? Again, I just want to understand better. So I will be able to handle a f******c*r if I ever have the chance.

Don't think standard 458s are fitted with semi-slicks or are they? The Michelin PilotS Cup2 was fine in wet weather on my ex RS but it's a new design which is said to do better in wet but no where near street rubbers.

It's all down to luck & experience when it comes to wet roads. Tyres with good thread life certainly helps & always pay attention to the steering input of your car, you need to feel it & don't over-react when it starts to slide, never brake or do sudden lift-off on your throttle. I've seen all kinds of cars spun out suddenly in wet weather so it can happen to anybody.

In my army days, we did skid pan on our Rovers to 5 ton trucks & it's quite an experience but I did crash out a few times while motorcycling in heavy rain doing E-brakes & my wrist hurts till today.

Satay, Indonesian style :) gravy is more spicy & meat seasoned with a sweet taste.

Was pleasantly surprised to learn that satay actually came from Chinese Hokkien word, meaning "Sa teh", 3 pieces of meat.

Yes Mp. A lot of us don't drive our sports car over long distances or even push it that's why I try to whenever possible.

Our cars are way too powerful/fast for us to react. I have a lot of fun pushing old RWD cars, even my old W140 S280 & E46 2.0L, seriously underpowered but they're fun to throw into corners, thin tyres, a littel hard so they slide & screech but you could feel it. Our exotics on the other hand have very soft, sticky compounds & when they break traction.... @_@
