Oh that post is coming, you can be sure about that. We just have to wait for some official pictures and then we'll hear all about how Ferrari ripped off Jims P4/5
Mark keep in mind that a mid-engined car's nose vents are radiator inlet, front brake cooling inlets, cockpit air inlet and radiator outlet. I don't see the Enzo like protuberance being as pronounced or bumped up as you've shown it as while the F70 nose photo does show an Enzo like most forward part cue the deck of the nose is indented likely to funnel air to the sides around the cockpit. The front fender section will be narrow and probably a bit more curved than you've drawn it. (Think Group C more than LMP1 or DP) The indented rather than raised section with the air dam sides will accelerate the flow as they do on the DP but futher up the nose I bet they curve outwards to direct the flow and radiator outlet around the windscreen. Easy now there. I think it is totally natural to compare styling cues at this stage. Especially when the only image of the car is so badly lit . And it is remarkable how close it looks like the Viper from this very angle. Am I saying that it will look like a front engine american sportscar? No, far from it. However, if what we are seeing is an air intake on the front bonnet that is quite interesting. What is it for?
^ Great work Mark. It seems like there is a Viper-ish air intake on the bonnet on the leaked picture - not an outlet as depicted here. I could be wrong though.
The Viper is now owned and designed by FIAT. It is still made in America but it's new design which is very good definetely has Italian influences.
It seems the lines are much softer than the Enzo. The Enzo design was very striking and it took me a while before i fell in love with it. This looks good already..i cant wait to see more!
On the f70 cooling for front electric motor I'd say... But Ferrari have photo shopped that picture the way it's done can give false impressions I guess take it as a very small taste it's more of a blink moment the more you look the less you know lol
Lol KERS news on the F70 is a lot older than the last few months even on here... If you saw my post above I stated the getting to work issue.. Below was simply a link and the section of text they stated it in..... I think the issues were 2 or 4 years back when they started working on the system...like with the FF the car took 2 years the F1 based computer system took 4.... More interesting is the crap people (car websites) say that act as they know...
It's hard to say Ferrari have really played with the shadows the bonnet is still wide open and the lights have had light added really is guess work with little to go on... But has a good feel about it...
Meanwhile the very latest Ferrari, ... possibly: http://matrix911.wix.com/milanotorino#!2013-ferrari-770-daytona-milano/cwmm
I really wish Ferrari would stop using those two HUGE ugly taillights. They belong on a '53 Fairlane, not a Ferrari (yes I know they had that design on old Ferraris back in the day - looks like ass now though). Bring back the 4 tail light arrangement! That said, this car is going to rewrite the books...can't wait to see it.
