I understand that from early 1973-ish magnesium rims became an option on the Dino when alloy became standard.
Apart from comparing weight with a known magnesium rim, are there any markings that will tell me what I've got?
I'm getting a (brake fluid) damaged rim refurbished. Does anyone know if the rims were originally painted or powder coated - I'm not sure how long powder coating has been around?
    Thanks in advance

Cromodora were the standard wheels while
    Campagnolo were the optional wheels.

Could you post a photo to clarify because your term is a word half way between both and not clear which it refers to.

Here is a great post to help

original rims are production date stamped on the backside
