For what it's worth, I borrowed the tool from a friend and did it myself with no drama whatsoever. Just needed to go slowly and methodically, using plenty of heat.

it shouldnt cost more than about 100.00 to let someone else do it.

Pretty easy to crack the paint if you dont do it correctly (slow; proper tools; most importantly, heat). If you find a good shop ready to take the responsibility on for a reasonable cost, I would go there and not bother with the home method.

    Agree with Spider360Matt.

I did roll my own fenders, and it does require a bit of care, patience and feel comfortable around tools.

Do choose a shop that has experience with the procedure !

Who do recommend local to do this, local being from SD to LA ?
If I get the 18" Challenge wheels and throw 235/40 and a 295/35 on the rims, will they rub ?

    TX.

Same setup I am looking at.

Diameter on both those sizes are less than stock:

    215/45 ZR 18 (F) = 25.61" vs 235/40 @ 25.4"
    275/40 ZR 18 (R) = 26.66" vs 295/35 @ 26.12"

It's the width that may cause a problem:

    215/45 ZR 18 (F) = 8.46" vs 235/40 @ 9.25"
    275/40 ZR 18 (R) = 10.82" vs 295/35 @ 11.61"

My fenders have already been rolled. So I assume it had non-stock rims/tires at some point in it's life before me.

Why don't you pose that question in the 458 forum? I'm sure many there have rolled their fenders.

??? there are a TON of people in the 360 community that have rolled there fenders.

You mentioned the LA to SD area...check out Raging Bull Performance. He rolled my fenders - no issues. He's located in Costa Mesa.

Even stock starfish wheels will rub on the 360 ...depends how you catch a dip , driveway, curb.

For those who are willing to drive to Oceanside, more than willing to help out rolling those fenders.

    BTW .... no charge !

I've had exactly that setup on my 360 spider for 9 years without a single rub ever. Also, no problems with the ASR. Only problem is the speedo reads 9% faster than actual (on my car).

However, I don't know if my fenders have been rolled. I bought the car new from the dealer and had him install some 19" BBS LMs prior to taking delivery. For all I know, he may have rolled the fenders at that time. I've never checked the fender of another 360 so I wouldn't know the difference.

I never took to the LMs, so I replaced them with the Challenge wheels as soon as I could source a set.

Donho- great to know - TX. Continental has some decent tires in those sizes for around $800
    from Tire Rack-

Have heard good things about Raging Bull- will check out if I don't take Enrique up on his offer and get him a nice lunch and some brews ! - I am interested in his CS kit, so meeting up with Enrique sounds like a plan......
