I think the V8 is a long shot but was told both would have KERS so if there are 2 plus a FXX what the difference with the 2 ?

Could posibly be just a very heavy customization program, which alows you to tune the same car more track worthy, ie stiffer setup, springs, programing, less weigt(more CF, no air con, no radio etc) while the othe end of the customization spectrum would be more confort oriented...etc...

thus not really 2 versions but one car that could be customized into a track special, or an every day driver, or anything in between (or ferrari's equivalent of that)...
    And the F70XX or whatever..

Already been stated that there will be addition options... Would not be 2 versions at all if your idea was right..

I think the two versions will be a stripped out more race like car, no A/c etc and a proper road car, no options just choose which you want. You also know the car with less will cost more! but who knows?

I don't think that China pic is the real deal but if it was it would IMO look more like this quick overlay I did.

I did this super fast and rough but I think it captures the form/cross sections of the image.

My mistake. Sorry for the mis-step.

Thanks for the compliment. I think then from that pic if I spent a few more hours on it instead of 20 minutes I could get closer. For example, the front grille. I just blacked it out but I bet it will have F12ish intakes/matte finish with better surface refinement. I just quickly generalized things such as the lights and air inlets but if you take the time to lay cross sections over that image there is alot of surface info there.

I think you are well on the way to seeing the future.....albeit I think the grille area will differ somewhat.

    Interesting. Thanks for clarifying that.

It sounds like Ferrari is drawing a lot on its racing know-how with the back of the front wheels like a LMP, a front fender section like Group C racer and an aero-bridge near the the A pillars. And it might even feature closing air ducts in the front grille and active aerodynamics like the Pagani Huayra.

I imagine that the aero bridge will be connected from fenders to the A pillars so the air is directed through that space and then downwards to the side intakes?

The air outlets on the bonnet could be placed closer to windscreen in order to maximize the efficiency of the aero bridge?

Thanks. Looking back at them now I'm not happy with the hood surface and grill. I'm going to try and do another quickie after the kids go to sleep based off a mix of the spy shots.

I do think it will be a "softer" surface development.

    You mean post #150.

Anyway, you might be right. There is definitely something going on in that whole area between fenders and the windscreen.
