Has anyone been able to get their Traqmate to show RPM when fitted to a 355?

I have tried to pull a signal from the tach and from the coil, with and without changing the dip switch in the Traqdata II box; and with and without fitting a Motec tach sender unit between the coil signal and the Traqdata II. Nothing at all just a zero.

I have tried another Traqmate, no difference and I have successfully pulled the tach signal to shift light.

    Any other suggestions appreciated.

Give Jim a call at Pocono Sports car. I have one in my car that works, but don't ask me how he did it! Happy Holidays!

Spoke to Jim - thank you. Yours is pulled from the green wire tach signal. I had tried that without success but ti may be because I already have a shift light being driven by that cable and I am diluting its output. So I am going to have another attempt.

Yes, try connecting to the green tach lead again. Also, Fast Ian has done that on his.

Could not get any 5 volt circuit to work. Finally went with a 12 volt circuit driven off an injector and configured at a 1 cylinder engine.
