You can try Punjab Grill at MBS, but you have to call in advance, or either Rang Mahal at RWS , there is another outlet which MP has pointed
Congrats mate NS is pretty fun, don't you thing so? You get to play with guns and explosive Just the regimental thing is a bit of a pain , but you do make good friends and learn quite a fair bit. I believe our NS man are a bit soft , and quite sheltered .. And NS makes them a bit tougher . Just saddens me to hear of some suicide cases when I was in Safpu. Wanted to become a Policeman for NS, instead I became a Military Policeman (MP) One days you would sit down and talk about your NS lol .. With some mates
Yea it was definitely fun and an experience. But in the latter parts, where everything becomes a routine it gets a little dull and monotonous. That's when time really crawls. And yes, gun and explosives are really fun! I still fondly recall the live firing exercise where I planted a live AT mine.
Ahhhh, we all hate MPs, don't we Not talking about you MP, it's army talk I was from one of the last few "tekan" era, my Sergeant was almost charged for making a recruit carrying the locker to parade square & do excercise the parade square was few hundred metres away from our bunk! Can't imagine the effects of that today
Mark, you're in good company here We have seow-ons, chow geng, F16 pilot & all. Remember, in SAF, you're either the highest or lowest, don't get stuck in between ranks
Do you know that a lesson plan has to be drawn up to do .. .. get this .. .. PULL UPS. It's completely ridiculous! But with the recent spate of unfortunate events regarding safety, I guess the army can't stand around doing nothing either.
more here ... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/belgium/9703166/Belgian-discovers-his-wife-used-to-be-a-man-after-19-years.html
Oh damn. First we have to check that our cars are of correct birth year & now we have to check if the woman we've been humping is a woman! Yikes..... But of cos The last thing army boys want to see are Mps showing up ><"
I was in OCS, tried to downgrade and was out of course and was sent to Safpu,.. Was an MP for a year and was posted to SIB which was pretty ok. Civilian and we just write reports and do some investigation work in camps. Usually Drug cases. Yes during MP course, when we did guard duty.. Some bikers would stop outside the camp and hurl vulgar language at us. don't blame them as some Miltary Policemen can be a a but of a pain. We are all serving NS together and should not abuse our power. Heard about the bunker stories, though that was in Commando camp? Became a clerk when I downgraded to Pest C2, during my last 8mths and was the best and most chill life in NS. 2 hours of work and the rest to do anything I want with my "lobo's" who were attached to be, not sure if they have them today
Just as I thought that getting a newer Ferrari is a joy, the head job becomes a nightmare...... It's well known that 355s have failed headers but apparently, 360 & especially F430s are prone to cracking manifolds with little mileage The biggest nightmare is when they fail, bits of metal get sucked back into the engine causing major engine failure! Fark. I'm going to have a smoke test on the exhaust system & leak-down test done asap. Car runs fine now after a welding job on the crack but I'm hearing a metal tinging sound everytime I make a turn after the Kuantan trip. This is so sad. Maybe I should've stick to a Gallardo afterall http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=207737&highlight=trans+mounting
But the CS is lovely LTA allows for aftermarket headers without cert for vehicles above 10 years. You just need to go for the inspection. Tell them, your car is above 10 years and that original parts are no longer available. My friend got his headers approved and they are for race use only!
Haha, a lot of stories must not reach safpu I do enjoy my NS days too, 8 units in 2yrs+ not bad @ all. Speaking of commando, we had POW course & water treatment was the norm for ages until a poor guy ended it all. And we also have our famous Bobby who became the CO's PA, driving his very bright Murcie into camp.
