Oh is that so?! That's nice to hear, they didn't approve my old 911 with aft mkt headers back then but my CS is less than 10yrs old & 430s are 5yrs+/-.

    Lol,
Heard that you are the one that helped him yeah to get the PA job ?

What unit were you in for POW treatment ?

We had a mad instructor for MP conversion course and he was charge for ill treatment ! He gave us change parade on book out day Saturday as he was unhappy he could not go home. We ended leaving camp at 4pm instead of 12pm. He was an NSF officer who though his second left was untouchable status :)

I met really nice people and also met a handful of fXxx!

I am pretty happy I served NS, but 2.5 years was too long. Now it's 2 years which is better, Maybe 12 months to 15 months is better :)

Yes bro, you should try and appeal the next time if you got a car older that 10 years.

My bad .. I though most CS and 360's have their COE renewed. It would be a car worth renewing COE. But the stupid COE is ridiculous :( maybe keep it in Malaysia :)

Well, I think 18mths is fine. Enough for training & some deployments provided everybody's punctual including the bigshots! You know how we waste time waiting for people to come :)

Well, I'm a 1/2 fark soldier, learnt everything but am nothing :D

Tuck cannot talk too much cos he's "classified" ^^

Yeah, those Lt. esp young NS ones are PITA. We don't give a damn about them & in reservist the 2 bars get to do all the sh*t, 3bars slightly better.

Yes mate 18months should be sufficient :)

Have some friends who flew the 15/16 and the stories they told is amazing. The refueling part and how they keep themselves occupied and also when they have no lavatory :)let you imagination go wild

Maybe Tuck/Audi can share some :)

Were you a Pilot trainee too Jon?

prices quite attractive for older 430s nowadays. Its still a good first Ferrari to own

Bro, better to use aftermarket header, either tubi or fabspeed as a precaution. That's what I did even with a good set of headers as the cost of failure is very high if the ingestion happens.

Problem is these cars are getting old, with older technology. And they don't have the same appeal as the CS which will always be a keeper, whilst these will just become "old" Ferraris as opposed to classic Ferraris which your CS is Jon.

Haha, thanks for the consolation bro. The CS is interesting as the feather weight makes it a very lively car to drive. It follows the RS principle & hopefully will attain a cult status like the 2.7. Good thing that it's value has started to surpass early 430s in overseas.

I just read a very nice article of a journalist taking the McLaren F1 for a 24hrs drive in North Welsh, can't believe it's already 20yrs old & prized by collectors as a modern GTO. It's valued for £4million! No power steering, no ABS, no assisted brake, no rear anti-roll bar, centre driver's seat & of course the gold plated engine bay. Please get a copy if you haven't, Nov issue of Octane with 3 McL on the cover.

The next holy grail car seems to be the F40. Everyone who has driven one gave praises of it & still affordable at the moment.

Aha Harold's good buddy ex-love & if I'm not wrong the owner of that Scuderia with the flat tyre. This was the subject of many month's job. Wonder how the dealers got this & those Novitec Ferraris approved?

Yes. I reckon if u hold it long enough it is going to hold very well. F40 is next though it's been hit and miss on that car for a few cycles already.

Lucky u! I've never asked to sit in one even though there were so many chances, maybe I'm a shy guy

Oh bro, that car has the full works! $150K? spent, go figure!

Yeah boy, the 90's crisis hit it very hard plus the fact that they made many, more than the CS! :D But really dig how it looks & the idea behind it. Hmmm LHD.

Lol... When its comes to cars :) never shy :) always loved the F40 and it was my friends Dad's car. But I was only 17yrs then, I believe he still has it . Need to check

Nice, would give him a ring to find out more.
It's 80k above my budget unless I get a new job :( unlikely with the current market conditions !!!
