I agree with your thoughts on fakes, completely.

But I really think we ought to get away from the labeling of any variant of Countach as the "worst" anything. As they say, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and "one man's trash is another man's treasure".

Stereotyping and typecasting is never a good thing, & so we need to be open-minded.

After all, I could make a case for "worst" aspects or attributes of every single variant of Countach from LP400 Periscopa to Annivesario, including the fact that many think the middle cars (LP400S to LP5000QV) have kit-car looks with their add-on spats etc. It really isn't necessary to get into the negative aspects.

I like to say: "I love them all for different reasons" and "there is something for everybody". Lets keep it positive.

    Same story, different place:

I think part of the video was taken at Edmond Ciclet's place. We can spot his 350GT in the first scenes.

    From Rob Ketcherside:

"Lamborghini Countach LP400, Monaco, 1978. You can see the 'spirit of ecstasy' hood ornament of a Rolls Royce parked behind him. The Lamborghini owner does not trust this lower-class citizen, and has a rear bumper guard deployed. Taken by my grandfather David C. Cook in early 1978".

Hi Joe, Do you know chassi number for this car? That car also got that "office-carpet" interior as mine did, so late 1982 perhaps?

My source in Japan tells me there is a reason the vast majority of the cars in the Club Countach are Anniversarios: drivability & reliability.

Fantastic find! It is amazing to see such an article coming from the iron curtain. I would love to get a translation.

Indeed awesome find, and thanks for sharing!

In October 1971 WHEELS magazine put forth this article, with similar illustrated depiction of Sci-Fi interior...

I love the title: "Of wild bulls, no more will be heard" :D

I suspect messrs Doug Blain & Ian Fraser may have something to do with it.

Paul, I understand the sentiments of QV owners. Ive owned all variants, and, the last variant really is more drivable & more reliable. No more common than, say, QVs. Meanwhile you are a great custodian for that lovely white QV.

That is James' car. I think he just keeps it at the dealership so it has dry warm storage and they get to show it. I sometimes take my old cars along to help them have something to show on open days. It is strange when the dealer principal says the old stuff attracts more attention than the new ones!
He has a 6.0 and would love to have a murci too!
