Yes, one and only in Singapore. Was told by a friend its a panty dropper when seen in person! Wow factor for sure. Unlikely to have similar concept approved in Singapore again after URA changed the rules following this development.

Haha if its me I would not bother with the garage but rather would have poles in the centre of the living room and sound proof walls.

For the price not worth it. Can make a landed property with a much nicer show piece garage in the house for the same. And architectural freedom to do exactly what you want rather than be constrained....

Most of the buyers are foreigners. At 9mil each, locals would jump for a landed property instead.

    Fantabulous! :D

With money, one can find smiles :)

Now that reminds me, saw an ad for a 38,000sqft land with a 7000sqft sea-facing house in Kuantan for just RM1.2milliom, that's only S$480K. Maybe buyer can do a small track too! But was warned that the new radioactive plant is going to be built there so eh... better not

Mp, other than Sentosa, I thought foreigners can apply to buy GCBs? Or simply set up an investment company?

Just invite all the Fchat bros and you'll get lots of poles in the room! Apparently the garage space is not part of what you pay in the purchase price which makes it pretty good actually as I would count that as my personal space but somewhat free.

I would imagine Harold to convert that lift to a KTV room complete with jacuzzi & neighbours will either love or hate him ^^

Hmm good question about that space. I've designed a house where two cars parked into the once living room with a rotating disc installed. Should petition that as non GFA instead!

Buyer must be really confident with the project.

I'm not sure about Singapore market. But in Malaysia, the market is not as booming as it used to be. Will it still worth $9mill in 2014? Hmm..

    for gcb's -

under 15,000 sq ft, non-citizens need to apply ... MAY be given on case-by-case basis ... i don't think foreigners are allowed ... i know a number of PR's with substantial investments here whose applications for buying gcb's were rejected ... reasons unknown ...

over 15,000 sq ft, citizens only ...

no idea abt the investment co. route ...
