    I know what you mean, Steve. I'm going to do the same. Next time we get together with our Scuds, maybe a passing in opposing directions, all caught on video, would be an interesting effect?

    I do sometimes, but the results are similar so you don't have to...it's just an audio extension cable. I like running down to the license plate, but anywhere in the back will get you the same results =) It's loud enough!

    That was a very enjoyable video to watch. I think you might have planted the seed in me to buy a GoPro. Is it hard to connect these things in a Scud? I am not much of a DIY kind of person:)

    Me too. I was just on ebay looking for some of this stuff. I need to get the whole list together and try to buy it from one source, if possible. Anyone with an ebay seller recommendation?

    It's real easy. Get the one made for filming cars. Everything you need is in the box except the mic. The built in mic is ok but an external one makes it much better. The suction mount works really well. It was tested on an airplane and it didn't fall off. When I had my f430 I took it up to 150 mph on a track no problem.

    If you get the Hero3 they don't have the exo-skeleton case yet, so you can't hook it up to external mics just yet...that's why I've still been using the Hero2.

    The vid quality on the Hero3 is bonkers good though, did a few test runs with it.
