Just took delivery of a 2005 612... and immediately noticed that there are 4 missing vertical chrome pieces out of the egg crate front grill. I see I can get a new grill for over $2,000- but that seems a bit silly for this kind of repair.

    Any suggestions?

my 599 did this and also noted on Ton's (Dutchman) 612, seems the glue dries out. I managed to get mine changed under warranty but before that was agreed I'd planned to use 3mm s/s dowel cut to length and attached to the front edge, I guess it's either that or see if you can get somebody to machine some aluminium to the correct profile

This might take some time and trial and error, but if you want to make it a DIY project you could try onlinemetals.com.

I've ordered misc stuff from them before and although shipping takes a while, I'm always happy with the product.
