Crazy, is what kills. Guns, are just toys for adults. It's more difficult to legally get a firearm than it is to buy a car, get a passport, serve on jury, or get healthcare service (if going through insurance-coverage).

Tough break for the eagles on that turnover.

What a mess the Jets are....

Beyond stupid that they brought Tim Tebow in.... he should be the starting QB in Jacksonville right now.. where is fan base is.

Instead, he goes to NYJ and they use him as a running back until he gets hurt.

I'll be amazing if their GM isn't fired... and very possibly Rex Ryan too (but the GM should go first).

I think Rex Ryan, Andy Reid, Romeo Crennel, and possibly Leslie Frazier & Jason Garret will all be looking for jobs in a few weeks.

5 for 7 is still better than Sanchez right? :p

Gotta give the guy a break though for how little he played in the game. I'm still shocked it took almost the entire game to pull Sanchez. And Rex Ryan saying: "When you've been in this game long enough you know what it's time for a change".

Wait, it took you 12 games to realize you needed to make a change!!!!!

You should have seen the video they played on the news. They were all acting like they were back in high school. It was funny.

Ok, I will be the first to step in it: is it a gun culture, or a race culture, or a gun culture tied to a particular race or background?

It's a legitimate question not meant to have racial overtones, but you cannot escape it: I don't know if I have ever read of a white player in the NFL getting busted for having a gun, using a gun, let alone getting into trouble at a 'nightclub' at 4am?

I'd like to ask a very serious question:

How many players in the NFL that have had gun issues actually graduated with their college degrees in their 4-5 years of eligibility?

Why is it you don't hear of white players or any QB's getting busted at 2-3-4-5AM?

Again, I'd like to NOT make it a race issue but it's hard to ignore what we all see, and we ALL see it and read about it almost every time there is a player with legal problems.
And after all the times players' read about drinking and driving, we have another tragedy in Dallas.

Players just seem to be too stupid to figure it out, no matter how many times it is beat into their heads.

Yes Bob, it IS a gun culture - but that culture is limited, and 'banning' all guns will NEVER stop it - we banned illegal substances 40-50 years ago, and now it's worse than ever, sme thing will happen with guns.

Too bad the NFL, NBA, MLB, whoever - cannot say 'if you are convicted of ANY gun crime - even just having an unregistered gun - you are banned for life'. It would take 4-5 years for the reality to kick in, but eventually it would. You COULD do that with a code of conduct clause - it's simple - if you want to play in the NFL you sign it - and if you don't want to sign it then you don't play.

ALL of us sign up for websites, and ALL of us have to sign disclaimers that we agree to, and if we don't click on the 'agree' checkbox - we don't get access.

Not so sure about Frasier - injuries have killed his receiving corps, but I think I'd have to think about the guy in Oakland, but then again injuries have killed his RB corps.
The guy in CLV may be tossed also.

I think it boils down to socieology. It's how and where they were raised and what they saw.

Finally the Ravens fire Cam Cameron and promote Jim Caldwell. Should be interesting to see if it makes any difference for the rest of the season.

    1) Ravens have three tough games coming up: Broncos, Giants, Bengals. If the Bengals beat Philly and Pittsburg, and the Ravens lose either Denver and NY this will be an early playoff game. Winner goes to the wild card and loser probably stays home.

    2) Bears will probably limp into the playoffs after losing to GB but beating th hapless Cardinals and Lions. I will have to be a Lions fan the last week of the season, puleeze beat the Bears...

    3) We will get to see just how good the texans are tonight as they actually play a good team in the Patriots. 27-20 Pats is my prediction.

    4) Green Bay seems to be gelling at just the right time, just like their Super Bowl year. But the pesky Giants scare me, they can beat and lose to any team in the league it seems depending on their mood.

    I'm not watching!!! LOL.

    I figured we'd lose.

You can't beat Tom in December. He's something ridiculous like XX-4(can't remember the number) in December for his career. That is insane!

    42-14. Pats killed em.

Looks like they are the odds on favorite to win the AFC. The Broncos only beat one team by a 28+ spread...Oakland in game 4 by 31. Oakland are not the Texans.

Brady looked great. Quick release. Hit so many receivers on the numbers I lost count. Best QB in the AFC now. And the Pats are playing good defense. Watch out.
