Something about that 'stripe plus' weirds me out. I'm looking for a totally original car. I did source a car locally - remembered that one of my buddies has one tucked away.
I believe I saw this car at Concorso Italiano in 2007. I believe the stripe is factory but I may be mistaken: Image Unavailable, Please Login
I know the owner, the car is beautiful inside and out. The leather interior with alcantara dash is really nice with the black paint.
Nero Daytona. From those pics, stripe looks aftermarket. Not sure if that's the same CS but that stripe is aftermarket.
What's the story on the NART Blue CS for sale in Florida? Seems like it's been for sale for a long time, is the price too high? Seems like a beautiful car to me. http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/search/DRauSearchDetails.aspx?itemid=1477809
I love the blue, but if I were choosing it would be with a solid color interior in black or gray or tan.
Just came across this unit.... looks good and priced fair. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=93730&endYear=2004&modelCode1=360&showcaseOwnerId=0&startYear=2004&makeCode1=FER&sellerTypes=b&searchRadius=0&mmt=%5BFER%5B360%5B%5D%5D%5B%5D%5D&listingId=334735927&listingIndex=18&Log=0 I have no affiliation with this seller.
Not knocking on the CS but at that price, can't you just get 2 sweet 360s, one of which is a dedicated track car with all kinds of weight/perf mods.
The stripe is factory, the "plus" was added by Ferrari of Washington (I think). It looks great in person.
Not added by FoWA; I personally know the original owner. No. There are several CS's in that same color combo & specs.
I keep seeing this CS body shell on Ebay. The seller is parting out the car and has already sold quite a few parts of it. I've tried emailing him but no success. Does anyone know the VIN of this (wrecked) CS? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-360-CS-Challenge-Stradale-body-shell-cockpit-tub-roof-/140855318866?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20cba19952&vxp=mtr
Mike.....My guess is that there is only one person on here that would probably know the VIN like he knows these cars inside and out. It begins with an "S" and he is a true "PRO" Good Luck !!
LOL Here it is prior to the crash. I've seen this car tear up the track, piloted by a female driver. Passenger door, sill and rocker are now on another CS that was also wrecked at the track. Does anyone know this car? Challenge-Stradale.com has the car listed with damage. Here is the ebay link to the car: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=394849 It was on ebay last week. vin# ZFFDU57A440136348 Thanks
I bought my CS from that dealer and am very pleased. I know Darren has the car looked after by an ex-Ferrari tech who now has his own shop and is as meticulous as Darren. I'd recommend contacting the CS Guru, Stokpro, and get his take. I did so and he gave me that final push off the fence. Thanks again Andrew!
Talked to the man and got the scoop on this car. It had a few accidents (suspension and panel replacements) and a lot of stories. TY Andrew
