Yes, that's me below. Nice to see the F70 borrowing some styling cues.

Hi all. First time poster, long time lurker here.

So excited to see Ferrari's newest offering and the images so far are mouthwatering. Couple of details I've noticed. Could there be a duct above the headlights (the area is very dark so I'm not sure)? There also appears to be a vertical line running along the car (as with the F50). This line can be made out on each side of the back of the car. Won't be long before we see the thing in all it's glory...

After reading this one and the other thread here I went to my garage and looked at the front of my Subi . I think I can definitely see where the new F70 borrowed the design for the headlamps from the Legacy. Clearly. I will put it under blue light tonight and the hood scoop my look like what is on the front of the F70 too. Amazing.

I think it is really interesting what those green pictures reveal. It looks like the rear fenders are kind of pinched on the bottom, leaving half the tire exposed from midway down. Nice fluid curve to it. Similar at the front, but not so sure about it.

Nice work; one can visualize most of the car now. It looks spectacular.

And, to the extent that it's due to Jim's direct or indirect influence: Thanks Jim!

I saw it there. There have been a huge number of posts speculating on what it will look like, with a large variety of "artists' conceptions." What we see here suggests a very stylish update of the Enzo idea with current Ferrari cliches: the "evil eye" headlamps; single round tail lamps; the F1-light. From what we see it appears less "industrial" than the Enzo, but the devil is in the details... and the side view.

Call me crazy but that looks more like a 430 with a P4/5 (599) single taillight and a flat Enzo rear decklid/spoiler

Bingo. I was thinking the same, but I was afraid that people would think I am crazy. Glad to see I'm not the only one who sees it this way.

Fans of one-off Ferrari creations will recognize some shapes from an earlier creation, the Pininfarina P4/5–it looks like the new F70 will appear as a curvier version of that Enzo-based car, especially from the rear end.

To me, the rear shot -- which is very cool -- looks like it takes in the best elements of the Pagani and Napolis' car. I am surprised that Ferrari couldn't (or wouldn't) steer the car away from either of these designs. In their press release it will be very interesting to see their public comments. A proper respect for the designs that formed the groundwork for this car is in order and it does not diminish Ferrari's abilities one iota.

I bet they will pay respect to their founder, their racing heritage and their engineering more than they will acknowledge any designer's work.

And, in my opinion, that is sad. It is petty.
