The painting is by Alan Fearnley. 1353GT is a covered headlights LWB TdF. I thought the silver car in the window may be an open headlight LWB TdF??? To me the roof doesn't look like that of a SWB Berlinetta.

I meant 2067/GT. No idea why I typed "1353." That's what happens when I try to multitask.

You're right, though; it could be a TdF or just about anything else.

    You're correct of course.

Ok, I probably got the yellow SWB correct, but that's 1 out of 3. I give up in this one. Off to find another thread to play in...

The Alfa is by far the best car in that group, yep even better than the GTO and LM. So amazing for its day.

IF Michael Sheehan and Barchetta are correct the yellow SWB is not 3409GT if the picture is 1998 as they state that it was red at that time.

You're usually correct, El Wayne so come back and play...

LOL! I thought you said it was 1994 for some reason. I was in the middle of studying for a law exam and really had no business messing around on F-Chat at the time. Guess that'll teach me a lesson. I hope I performed better on the exam than I did here. :)

The person who made this used a mix of different photos of the cars for the painting. Only few angles and dimensions on this painting are correctly made! Ambitious, yes - but otherwise ..?

Talacrest's response to my question regarding what the artist was working from:

"the artist was working from a photo - the cars were arranged like that and were all held in stock at the time"

I've asked if they have the photo.

The photo was taken on February 25, 1957 and 0146E started in the Cuban National race for over 2-liter cars held before the start of the Cuban Grand Prix. This photo (copyright unknown) shows the start of that race with 0146E on the second row.

In this close up of the start photo, the white Ferrari # 46 in second row, is 625/500 TR s/n 0632 (ex Drogo) of Chester Flynn, when he was at GM Venezuela
