Inspired by the my butt's too big to fit my Ferrari seats thread. I'll kick things off with my original post: "I eat too much good food to fit my Ferrari & $1,000 pants." Let the entertainment begin!
I fit in my seat fine, the prob is if u buy a nice pair of designer jeans , they all have buttons on the back pockets, scratch on the way in and scratch on the way out of the car seat, hurts when u feel like u r scratching the fine leather.
I fit fine in my F430 and Scud (6'4" 225 lbs), but I always keep my wallet and comb in my front pockets so they don't chafe the bolsters. Another 10-15 lbs might make it a problem in the Scud. $1000 pants...No way! I get my $1000 pants at the second-hand store when the rest of you guys become too fat to wear them anymore
1. I can only fill up my water bottles half way. Otherwise they fall out of my cup holders during hard stops, quick acceleration and fast turns. 2. I really only drive my Spider on sunny days with the top down. Good thing is we have over 300 days a year of sunshine here. bad news is if I do not put on sun block I will get sunburned. Bummer.
Maybe Ferraris arent made for those who are "a big guy", euphemism for too fat. For them, hey, theres lots of choices. Suburbans, Ford expedition, a big cadillac/Lincoln (those made before 2000), Denali, etc etc. Nothing wrong with "a big guy", just that they have to have "a big car".
But wait, what about full access and equality for all? I can just see the law suit now; ACLU sues Ferrari claiming systematic prejudice against large men.
My wallet is filled with $500 in single dollar bills on the way to the... grocery store and I get sciatica from my ferrari's seats.
Sciatica, very painful, lots of suffering. Another products liability law suit against Ferrari...probably not gonna be taken up by our friends at the ACLU though.
I'm too busy with projects to drive my Ferrari so I worry that it may not start if it sits for 2 months.
I just had the worst day. While driving my Ferrari to my yacht today, I realized that the crown of my Patek Philippe watch ripped my Diamond cuffed Eton dress shirt!
Ok ok I get it people are infatuated with Ferrari's, especially the people that don't work hard enough to afford one or didn't inherit any money from family so they can buy one. But why do they have to stare at us when we drive by them on the street. Why don't they just mind their own business. Oh, and another thing, if gas prices go high enough that will force most people to drive less thus reducing traffic so we can drive our F cars with less traffic to worry about.
I was thinking about that as well... I'm probably going to change my tag to "PlzEatCake" or "MorThnUcanAfrd". I think that should go over well. Athough I'm not sure it sounds elitist enough...
$10-14K for new [fat arse] seats vs exercising, eating right, getting healthy and losing some girth...hummmm. Yuuup, the new seats sound like a bargain! I wonder if we could get a set of Suburban seats shoehorned in a 360? That would cut down on the costs and then we could continue eating all we want.
news flash from the fast lane... "bench seats back by popular demand..." LA'ers ( largeassers) unanimously approve....
I usually drive my FCar naked. So no worries about wear on the beige bolsters with contrasting blue stitching. I get my wife to rub me down with some nice leather conditioner and I slide right in. I do have to cinch the belt tight - and Im thinking five point harness might be better - but I'm worried about the chafe in the nether regions. If I'm doing spirited driving them perhaps I'll slide on a Depends once in the car. Seriously (maybe): I'm 6'2" 220lbs, The seats are fine when I first get in. But I find the bolsters tight for long drives. Did not know they were adjustable width. Is that only on the Daytona seats?
Best idea yet!! We need to transfer you into the Ferrari interior design department! I can just see the carbon fiber "Daytona" full size 60/40 split SPORT bench seat Armrest, of course, with food and cup holders Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
And that is a problem at the KFC drive through of course! That and the driver's side window is barely large enough to get the family sized bucket through it combined with the super sized fries and drinks.
