    Hey guys,

Couple of quick questions...I was putting the car away today for Winter storage and while on the roll around dolleys, I noticed the front right turn signal lense is cracked by the inner most mounting screw, don't know if a rock hit it or what....Where is the best place to get a new lense? I'm new at this, so I assume you can just replace the lense and not the whole light assembly. Looks like the bottom clear light is glass and the top light orange/yellow is plastic.

Next ?, can the lower valence be removed w/o taking the front bumper off. I've removed the 8 lower philip screws and assume there are probably 8 or so bolts holding it to the front bumper. It looks like the previous owner painted it glossy black and I want to remove it and and have it repainted flat/satin black to match the black on the sides. I'd like to remove it so my body guy can fix the little imperfections (rock chips, scrapes and small cracks)

    Appreciate any and all input,

    John

John, these lenses are pretty much impossible to find, and while you could replace just the lens, I think you usually only find them with the whole assembly.

There are cheap knock-offs on eBay but they are euro type and they got the white to orange ration wrong, so don't buy them.

For the spoiler, yes, you can remove it with take the nose out. You'll did threads with explanations and photos on this forum. As for the paint, I painted mine 3 times (3 freakin' times!) before getting the proper original color. This is what I used (bought it at O'Reilley's Autoparts)

And by the way, I'm totally with you for the gloss bumper, it's plain wrong, even satin doesn't work for me.

You should be able to get a new OEM turn-signal lenses through this site's sponsor, Ricambi.
I picked up a couple of brand new Euro turn-signal light lenses here. http://www.ricambiamerica.com/parts_catalogs.php?M=FE&P=&V=diag&I=2923
    OEM US lenses too.

Beware: USA and EUR have BIG differences in F lenses ... I bought one for the 512TR... and simply can't use it overhere ....

This might be correct on the 512TR, but not on the testarossa.

The only difference regarding the lenses could be RHD and LHD. We´re talking about fog lights and not driving lights.

If you can't source new try used,
TRutlands deals in used parts as well. This may be your only recourse.
Here are some salvage links for used parts.

    Also , GT Carparts, http://gtcp.com/

There are TR's being parted out all the time. You shouldn't have that much problem tracking down a turn signal lens.

Derailed again  Actually the OP is talking about turn signal lenses (USA, OEM Carello, plastic amber), not fog light lenses (OEM Carello, glass). The lenses are specific to TR (not 512), and USA market, PNs 61536400 and 61536300. Ricambi does list them but may be NLA. As Rifledriver says they are available aftermarket.
