I have a Ferrari F430 with novitec nf3 wheels. These are 3 piece wheels and I recently had them disassembled and the face painted black. I drove the car for the first time and the wheels literally squeak. The faster you go the more rapid the noise. Were they not properly sealed? Are the rivets loose? Any insight would be appreciated.

We run into this with the modular Jaguar wheels. You need to torque them to specs and then make about 3 more rotations around the wheel to make sure they are all tight. Not sure what your wheel torque is but the Jaguar wheels use 9 ft/lb.

You must replace the hardware, one time use.

Happened to my wheels also after refinishing. I think the cause of the squeak is the newly painted spokes cause of the 3 piece design the seams where the spokes and the barrel meets are now much tighter and the or maybe touching. Ill take a picture of my wheels when I get a chance. But the squeak went away after a 100 miles or so

What hardware? Are you talking about the lugs?
