    Same here.

    NICE car!!!! Love it.

Interesting license plate. Doesn't seem French at all!

This doesn't happen to be your car, does it?

I've seen a dozen of them on a popular European car sale site and prices are 30-45k euro.

Great looking car!! It looks how I would think the original designer intended.

    Everybody, thanks for the compliment.
I have seen pictures of your cars Hans and Mark and they are certainly fantastic. Hans your car inspired me for the work i had done :)

Hans, these are the new french plates.
Your pictures do not show my car but this one is gorgeous as well, except IMHO for the rims. I am fond of the 14' tires

Yours is magnificent looking! And thanks for the compliment.

I too like the look of the 14" wheels, but since I am driving the living daylights out of this car, and the last of my regular buddies has traded "up" from 328 to 360, I can use all the performance that I can muster. The 16" get me better tires, better road holding and the opportunity to use bigger brakes (which are really incredible)

What color is yours? Blu Sera? I absolutely love it!

    Yes mine is Blu Sera.
I like the color very much.

I totally understand the need for bigger brakes :)

But I don't drive much on track, and i am certainly not a pilot so for a normal road use i consider stock brakes OK. Then I can mount these 14' tires that are horribly expensive but have a great vintage look.
This winter I am going back to a full set of Michelin XWX

I have looked a lot at your videos on Youtube. They are fantastic except for the sound, the video doesnt do justice to the carbs alas

Next time, I'll mount the camera on the passenger side, where it will pick up induction noise.

Maybe I'll invest in a Gopro 3 with remote microphone.....

And yes, LOVE the color of yours. To the point where I regret going with such a dark shade of blue myself...

If I remember correctly, yours is a USA GT4 not a Euro version.

As others have noted and by the recent sale figures, I think if your car was a euro, it would fetch twice the amount.

In Germany there are 2CV's and Alfetta's for $25k-30k, so let's be serious. Even Bernanke is not that gullible.

You can chuckle how often you hear that German cars are superior because of the Tüv and Autobahn (French highways make the latter look like a country road), that belts are done according to kms only, and the oil is Ok because the owner didn't drive it in the last 3 years. In reality the majority of European cars are inferior to US cars.

Insular? You can believe the European myth or you can deal with the European reality.

Unfortunately the Uracco interior is kit car quality (but so is the Countach) and the GT4 smokes it in drivability. Both the Uracco or Merak are more GT like.

Do you think 15k Euro (30%) increase in 3 months is a market trend or one of those often encountered Euro inflation deals?

Last I checked Tüv is 80 Euros. Sure enough the dealer backtracked when I told him where I test drove the car 3 months ago, and offered an instant discount of 10k Euro. That would make the car 40k. Yet he said he bought it for 45k. Why would he take a 5k loss? He wouldn't because he's lying.

In Europe, overall, both the Uracco and Merak are more, talking about realistic prices. Even more so in Italy.

Depends on the conversion rate. Remember that before the Greenspan/Bernanke USD devaluation, US dealers were importing a lot of Euro classic cars.
That said, there are good GT4's for 25k Euro in France. I mean cars without the oft encountered speaker cutouts, flat (not ribbed) door cards, Ferrari emblems all over, and other interior and exterior "improvements". In the Uk you could find one with a sunroof for that price.

France, Netherlands, Italy are good source countries for classic vehicles and the prices are more moderate. Germany is a destination and has more speculative prices.

    Great pic!

Your GT4 is really compresing its suspension in that shot!

Actually it is a regular french title.

I must respectfully disagree, it is very hard to find good GT4s for 25k€. I don't know anybody that got a good one recently for that price (and I know 3 people who have bought one in the last 6 months)

I bought mine for 25k€ in 2008. It had the speaker cutouts, and the Ferari emblems all over :) Plus the worn out bushings, bad triangles at the front right wheel, multiple oil leaks. I was young and ignorant :)
At least the car was healthy

A couple of them are 208s, but still.....The nicest ones (to me at least) are right-hookers. Surpriing to see so many of these in one place.

As you can see in these straight away shots the car is lower than stock, plus the new upgraded bars keep the car quite straight. That turn in the original post is very tight and has some of the most roll on the whole track.
