Talk about rock bottom for the Jets. Rex should have been fired before he even had a chance to do the post game interview. And they're morons for the contract extension they gave Sanchez at the beginning of this season.

If I was Tebow I'd be begging for a trade to Jacksonville, and minimize anything he had to do with that team this season.

Time to move on.... Because that team is "done" as is.

If the Jets were not in NYC they would just be another lousy team that gets no attention. Let's hope the media stops covering these losers and focus on teams that actually have a chance of making the playoffs.

Nobody talks about Cleveland, Buffalo and Jacksonville. Nobody talks about the Bengals and they are 8-6. But the Jets 6-8 are major news?

I respectfully disagree about your point of firing Rex Ryan.

Ryan didn't trade foe Tebow; the GM/Owner did.

Ryan didn't give Sanchez the guaranteed $8.5 million; the GM/Owner did.

Yes, it is Ryan's responsiblity to coach the team to victory, but he can only work with what they gave him. QB = everything in the NFL, no QB = no chance.

The Jets need to have a fire sale and get rid of most of their players and start from scratch. If you recall Ladanian Tomlinson's comments about the Jets' locker room being the most poisonous he has ever witnessed.

Sanchez had a few good year's (beginner's luck?), but it's obvious is not an NFL starting QB and the Jets need to cut him loose.

Agreed their #1 problem BY FAR is Mike Tannenbaum.... however I still put Rex not too far behind in 2nd.

Mark Sanchez is no elite QB... but his offensive/coaching staff is bringing out the absolute worst in him.

Tebow needs to wake up and smell the coffee if he wants to stay in the league. He needs to move to a TE position. Tebows big enough to be a lineman, he's damn near the same size as Brian Cushing, maybe put on 20lbs.

Hello, I really dont understand all the hate on Tebow. Where ever hes gone and actually played hes won. How many players have won a Heisman and won two national championships. Even at Denver, Elway was not thrilled with him, even publicly being critical until he started winning and took them to the playoffs. Remember that 80yard bomb he threw at the end of the game to win, that was beautiful. I Dont blame Elway for taking Manning, but it would have been good for Tebow to be under and learn form him.

Hes no Peyton Manning, but theres only a couple who could be.

So what if hes a Christian, maybe if he was a getto thug with an alternative lifestyle, that would be more socially acceptable.

Jacksonville would be or should be a perfect fit for him, back in Fl. it would bring the fans there back and maybe who knows, with his unorthordox style and quirks what might happen.

The hate is not personal, it's him as an NFL QB.

Didn't he lose 4 of his last 5 games?

Didn't he lead the NFL in the most 3 and outs last season?

Didn't he lose to KC 7-3?

What did he do against Tom Brady in the playoffs last year?

Has he thrown for more than 200 passing yards in an NFL game?

Has he completed more than 8 passes in an NFL game?

This the Pros, not College or High School....

    This.

I like Tebow and think he's the type of person we need to be out in the forefront of the media.

I was talking completely about his quarterbacking ability.

    In other news........

    1. Not the games he started in.
    2. not sure, but he also won more comeback games late in the 4th. Denver became the first team in NFL history to win a game after being down by at least 15 points with three minutes to play in a game.[115] Tebow's sixth come-from-behind fourth quarter or overtime victory in his 11 career starts was the most in NFL history for any quarterback in that time span.[120]

    3. He beat them 2 times: On November 14, Tebow threw a three-yard touchdown pass to Spencer Larsen on his first career NFL pass attempt, as part of a 49–29 home victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. He also added a one-yard rushing touchdown in the game.[109] His performance against the Chiefs earned him his first Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week honor.

    4. Peyton Manning lost to him twice more than that, who hasnt.

    5. Yes At least twice : Tebow's first career victory came in his second start on December 26. The Broncos defeated the Houston Texans, 24–23, in Denver. Tebow helped rally the Broncos from a 17–0 deficit at halftime, as he finished the game with 308 passing yards and one touchdown pass. He also added a fourth quarter rushing touchdown, which capped the comeback.[113] Tebow received his second Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week honor following his performance.[114]

6 Yes, Tebow completed 10 of 21 passes in the contest, setting the franchise record for quarterback rating in a playoff game (125.6)[123] and an NFL record for yards per completion (31.6) in a playoff game against the Pittsburg Steelers. No slouch on defence.

My point, hes no Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, but to say he doesnt deserve to play even start on many teams is not borne out with the facts. Theres a lot worse out there, Sanchez comes to mind.

    Colin Kaepernick ;)

Nobody "deserves" anything in the NFL - it is a cut-throat business in that league (like most other sports), you have to fight and claw your way to keep your starting position (with the exception of the Tom Brady's, Drew Brees's, Peyton Manning's etc).

Just look at what happened to Alex Smith - doesn't he "deserve" his starting job back? You won't get any sympathy from anyone in the NFL (which should stand for Not For Long), it's a "what-have-you-done-for-me-lately" league.

I like Tebow as a person, he is as perfect a human being as I have ever seen, but that doesn't mean he automatically gets to start in the NFL as a QB...because frankly put, he is not very good.

Calvin Johnson...despite the score and fumble he is setting records...8 consecutive games with 100+ yards...tied Michael Irvin with 11 games in a season with 100+ yards...only 65 yards away from breaking Rice's record for yards in a season...I bet the Lion's try to get him the record this game...TBD.
